Trashing John Innes compost - which is superb loam, grit/H sand, and peat mainly - all superb for plants, is that.
Just trolls' trashing good things, now trying to disguise to cover up.
No one on this thread has trashed JI compost ( which is just a formula ) altho it might help to know that as so many companies produce it, there can be quite a difference between one brand and another. What people are trying to impart is the best and most efficient use for it.

Don't be sorry @gjautos, your post is exactly what the forum is for and the reason most of us come- to learn from others. If you hadn't posted the question someone else would have, it's a common enough topic. And all sorts of threads are attracting this attention at the moment, it's not the topic or you at fault 🙂
