    Country pancakes would the the cake/ manure thing together nicely. Whether the delicacy would be improved by the addition of clotted cream or lenon, I will leave it to the rurals to decide.  we don't get many in London.

    Beer and Pasty........ then follow it with cake, obvious. Although it was the black pudding with @Dovefromabove breakfast that I was really jealous of.

    @punkdoc OH had black pudding with roasted squash as part of his breakfast… he says it’s a fantastic combination. 😋

    I think I have had that somewhere @Dovefromabove and I remember it being rather lovely. The imo. classic combination of Scallops and black pudding is also a real treat.

    I’m so glad I can still eat scallops @punkdoc … now that oysters have ‘taken agin me’ 😢

    White pudding. Now that's a thing. Clonakilty's is the best. Deliciously unhealthy but it has oats or barley in it. Oats are good aren't they?
