Morning Debs. I'm sure that after Sunday you will feel less stressed and will be able to get your energy back. In future years you may be able to look back on this time and find some things to smile over.
The clemmies I've got are Boulevard (Patio) ones. Nubia and Kitty. The Nubia is covered in flowers at the moment - nothing on Kitty but I'm looking forward to seeing them flourish next season.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Good morning everyone .I hope you got back to sleep Hazel and Bluebell. Debs I am sorry to read that you are so tired .I hope work is not too stressful today .LB your clemmies sound lovely . My plug plant clemmies haven’t arrived yet .
Morning everyone. Slightly better night last night but had to be up early for boiler service. Ho hum - feel like I could do with about 12 hrs sleep at the moment.
Feel sorry for the service engineer. He's made it here but is very low on fuel and will have to cancel other appts if he can't fill up today. Fortunately I filled up last Wednesday when my tank was down to 30 miles range. Bearing in mind it's a round trip of 20 miles to the nearest town that was cutting it a bit fine🤭
Having a bit of an easier day again today but I'll make a cottage pie later and might cl*an the kitchen windows - they're covered in fly spots from having the french windows open.
LB - gin and chocolate doesn't do much to cure the cough - but at least you're happier when you're hacking.... Those are nice clemmies you've bought.
Rosie BB - thanks for the chip buttie - nothing like it is there? When we lived in York there was a lovely old pub in town which did excellent beer and its signature food dish was a huge chip buttie. Think a pound of chips sandwiched in half a loaf - absolutely huge - we used to share one.
Hazel - I'm glad you were around to take care of your daughter this time. Very worrying for you. I imagine she's not that old is she?
Debs - deep breathing exercises for you. Hope you all enjoy the big day.
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
The marauders don’t seem to be about this year @Topbird … we were saying the other day that maybe a year with hardly any victims to rob has made them go elsewhere … or maybe there’s been a secret cull whilst the tender hearted holiday makers weren’t around to cry Fowl! 😉 certainly the big resident herring gull with the Asbo leg tag who patrolled the corner near the icecream shop for several years, attacking small dogs and babies in buggies, is nowhere to be seen.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Afternoon 🙋🏻♀️ We have beautiful blue skies and the sun is shining, but there's a chilly wind. Have done some unmentionables this morning and have been for a walk to the duck pond and through the woods. It was quite sheltered from the wind while walking through the woods, but the short walk up the road was quite chilly. Goodness @Busy-Lizzie 300 bulbs to plant, but it will look stunning next spring. @debs64 sorry you feel so tired and stressed. I'm sure like others have said you'll feel much better on Sunday and enjoy your daughter's special day. @Topbird glad you're feeling better this morning. Take care. @Dovefromabove lovely photo of the beach and sea. Enjoy your day. Hope everyone is having a good day.

My 300 daffodil bulbs have just arrived, but it's raining.
