    Morning all.

    Enjoy your visit @Songbird-1.

I'm going to help sort out books in the C of E book barn this morning. They've asked for volunteers. They sell second hand books in English for charity, my main supplier of novels, though they have all sorts, cookery, gardening etc.

This afternoon I'm going for a mammogram, the Xray clinic is only 5 mins drive away according to Google maps, hope I can find it. Must have driven past often but not noticed it.

Good morning SGL and Debs. It is brightening up here SGL so I'm staying hopeful. Debs, you will have some fun with Thomas today but that is difficult news about your niece. Do you know if she has a tutor at Uni who could possibly give her some advice? Fingers crossed she gets some positive help.

Good morning Busy - another one who snuckered in. Enjoy your book sorting - I can imagine that is very interesting. As for the mammogram, its a while since I had one but it is well worth the discomfort. I'm sure that you will find the clinic.

  • Hazel an early start for you this morning.   Your mum will be looking forward to seeing you.  Dove I wish you a good journey.  Lily I’m doing bits and bobs today too after a late start.  LB I hope handy brother enjoys Bognor Regis.  I’m glad your happier with your supplier.  Busy I hope the mammogram soon passes and you can be back home.  Enjoy helping out with the books.

Book sorting was very dusty, the barn has only recently re-opened after Covid lockdowns.

The mammogram was OK, thank goodness.

Hi folks. Sorry I’ve been absent but Jonah and Gabriel decided to share their tummy bug and I’ve been in the quiet corner feeling sorry for myself. There seems to be a lot of it around at the moment. It’s probably due to the kids going back to school.
I’m off to Wales tomorrow for a short break with Bestie so I’m hoping the weather holds. Hope everyone is ok.
