Hazel have a lovely time with your mum .Lily I am so pleased that you have had a good birthday .
Love your post LB . Night night folks ,sleep well .
  • Biglad I was watching the Chelsea flower show too.  I’m sure your donation is appreciated.  LB I’m glad you’ve heard from British Gas a good idea to take a photo of your meter readings for your initial contact.  Apparently four companies were involved.  Lily I’m glad you had a peaceful day.  Goodnight everyone.
  • Good night from me too. Sleep well everyone and sweet dreams
  • Good morning all … been awake off and on overnight … brain whirring around with thoughts about routes, packing and such stuff. Silly cos I’ve done it so many times … it’s probably because we had last week away so my preparations are a little more ‘compressed’ than usual.
I meant to say that MIL is thrilled with the secret gardening done by the garden pixies… she loves that it looks ‘tidy’ … won’t she be surprised when the bulbs appear 🤫

A very good morning Dove and all to follow. What I want to know is why is it still raining? Grrr. You'll have to post some pictures of the flower show next Spring Dove.

Handy brother is going off to Bognor Regis for a short holiday tomorrow. I do hope that the weather is better down south for his break. One of my college friends came from Bognor and it took me a while to understand why she had a huge model seagull in her room @Biglad, then I discovered that she and her boyfriend (now husband) were besotted and perennial season ticket holders of Brighton & Hove Albion.
p.s. she and her husband now live in Brighton. I think that might just have been a happy coincidence.

Morning Ruby, you snuckered in there. How is your OH today? I do hope that he has fully recovered. I was full of gardening plans for today but I'll have to wait until someone up there turns the taps off!
I've just taken pictures of my meters - talk about having to be super bendy! Anyway its done and I'll await my next contact from British Gas. Needless to say, I'm quite happy it wasn't the company RosieBB mentioned yesterday!

Good morning all. Proper autumnal day here sunny but cool. I am off work so looking after little Thomas for a few hours and then I think tonight will be a hone pedicure. My feet are not a pretty sight. Lovely meal with friends at my house last night but worried to hear that my niece has failed her first year of chemistry at university. She doesn’t know what to do as she can’t go back until she passes some modules and she has a house arranged in Liverpool with friends but no cash for rent. Big decisions to be made, hard on one so young. My sister is worried to death of course. Kids!! Who would have them?
