What a beautiful bouquet @newbie77 so cheering.
  • Afternoon everyone,  I have just taken delivery of three bare root roses:    Munstead Wood, England’s rose and Lark Ascending.   I am not going to be able to plant these out until Tuesday.  How do I keep them happy til then?  TIA 🌹

If you have a bag of compost, up end it and put the bare roots in there. Give a drink. they'll be fine.

I'm jealous of your Etoile blooms, mine gave up weeks ago.

@Lizzie27 There's only a few. I've not had many blooms this year as all the energy seems to have gone into growing very long canes. I have tied them all in and hope this pays off next year. I did a bit of trimming the laterals today. One long cane had broken in the wind. All the rain and slightly warmer temps here has given the plants a last min boost.

I'm going to use the petals for bundle dyeing in the week.
