That Ruffles Queen looks quite something, looking forward to your photos already @JessicaS. I really hope Odyssey lives up to expectations for those that recently acquired it, I do like mine a lot.
Gorgeous day here and pottered in the garden pruning CLEMatis, turns out I have 16, more than I would have guessed.
The pots needed watering, they are sprouting away. Grafin Diana furthest along I think and a nice basal on Proper Job
Just started getting my two new pots in place and have half filled them with manure and J.I 3. Was going to plant them tomorrow but a bit anxious of what the weather's going to be like in the next few days, it's pretty chilly overnight but we haven't had a frost since last week. Both the new 2 yr old Nathalie Nypels have started sprouting and I rather wanted to get them into bigger pots before they really get going.
Sorry @Topbird, yes meant for @JessicaS, rushing out for the haircut! Yes I like ruffles too. Stormy Weather has a bit of that going on, but not as much as your two:
Finally my roses arrived, the GdeF standard looks good but only two grafted roses on it, maybe that’s a good thing since it’s pretty vigorous. Oh and I got a tiny freebie of Paul Neyron but nowhere to put it! Must be a thing at the moment, since I got an equally tiny freebie Gloire de Ducher with a previous order from another French nursery. Will take some photos tomorrow, they are dunked in a bucket in the garage at present.
Mountainous Northern Catalunya, Spain. Hot summers, cold winters.
Crépuscule The Albrighton Rambler I lost a big cane this winter... probably because of a lack of water in summer. I keep underestimating how dry that raised bed can get. I desperately need a new basal this year. Silas Marner It would benefit from repotting but I am too lazy. Purple Skyliner Good and easy Plaisanterie in a shady and challenging spot, reaching for light.
Just received my order from Rumwood nurseries. Ordered on the 6th, despatched yesterday, arrived 12 hours later. Two Twice in a Blue Moon and one Love Knot all look good to me and are sat in a bucket till I can plant out tomorrow.
I hope they do well for you @purplerallim , Rumwoods were very quick for me too.
Thanks to @Nollie's giggle translation I tried searching for a 'tuteur' et voila I have bought one similar to this at a relatively bargainous price (£29.99, all others were 100s) Pictures like this from Beales confuse me though, surely that rose should be growing through the support. If it is first year and the rose will eventually grow through then surely it isn't necessary first year, I find it extremely ugly. Mine is in parts so I can place the top umbrella bit in the second year, actually I am adapting it so it fits onto a single straight support, I prefer not to have the stem frame (It makes a good climber plant frame). I was going to place mine lower into the 'head' than this and manually hoick the canes through. What do you think?
..nice Spring flowers Newbie, I like the Hellebore 2nd one down.. I don't grow any these days..
.. yes strange look to the rose on support structure Tack.. I don't recall seeing it at Beales gardens last summer... but I rather like the tuteur with a more suitable rose.
.. your Crepuscule is going to look great this year edhelka.. looking forward to seeing that..

I like the ruffled petals. Ive got fetzer syrah and a bizzare yellow ruffled one called ruffles queen from harkness new for this season too.
Catalogue pics below (not mine!) Pinched from harkness site. Heres hoping mine are like that!
Spotted basal shoots on Angel eyes earlier.
