    @edhelka, I relate to your feelings. Sometimes I think life is too short to miss on something we really want, and sometimes I think if there are too many roses, specially in pots then I can't give them proper care.

    I'm sure I'm only yearning for The Prince because I can't buy it in the UK. :D

    @oliya As you’re not planning to plant it out for at least a year, I would repot it into a larger pot (but not huge as that makes it difficult to remove and plant).

    That makes perfect sense! Thanks @Omori

    The graft @Oliya 😊 I would pot it on into a slightly larger/deeper plastic pot and bury the graft about 2-3 inches below the soil, that way you will encourage more basal growth and a bushier rose. I assume it’s a potted rose so this late in the season it might be a bit root bound in it’s nursery pot, so would be a good thing to do anyway - have a look and see..

    I think the cure is to stop browsing US sites, induces far too much FOMO @edhelka! They do all rave about Barden’s roses, but how much of that is down to their rarity value, our US cousins’ natural ebullience or the rose itself, difficult to tell. Doesn’t seem to be doing so well in the CR, so just tell yourself it would really hate living in Wales!

    @Nollie thanks! 😊

    I only got Munstead Wood out of FOMO 🙈 (because of the rumours it may not be available any longer). No idea where to put it… so in the pot it went!

    I'm looking at getting rosa Lilac Bouquet for a friend. She's wanting something more purple than pink. Does anyone have it? It looks like the best repeating purple climber or rambler I could find.

    "Purple Skyliner"

    I did look at that, but it looked even more pink online. @pitter-patter would you say that 'lilac bouquet' is vaguely lilac?  It looks quite small in reach..
