@Marlorena thanks for your advice. I'm looking to rejuvenate some of my HT and shrub roses. I just don't seem to be able to throw away roses which are past their best days.
Hello all, enjoying my holiday with friends in the south but still peeking in now and then to see all your lovely roses. Thanks @cooldoc, but our dog sitters report fine sunny weather and no floods in our region. Looks as if the coast further south took a battering though. Looking forward to seeing our woolly woofers on Monday and of course the roses!
Mountainous Northern Catalunya, Spain. Hot summers, cold winters.
.somewhere along the line I must have thought I didn't have enough creamy coloured or yellow roses..
'Golden Beauty'.. not many can match this for health given the time of year.. 'Marie van Houtte'... I'm not certain this is correct.. 'Goldem Memories' / 'Frilly Cuff'.. 'Frilly Cuff'.. good foliage.. 'Gruss an Aachen'.. 'Tall Story'..
Hi all, did a bit of deadheading yesterday morning. Not getting much time to go in the garden at the moment but still enjoying the view from the window! The rudbeckia have come back despite laying a patio over the top of them. They’re looking pretty though and I don’t mind a bit of a wild self-seeded look!
There are some new flowers opening up on my newer potted Lady Emma Hamilton and they smell so good! Definitely one of the best fragranced that I have.
Rhapsody in Blue
Scarborough Fair
Malvern Hills, non stop flowers and growth. It’s got a few long weeping canes which I’ll sort of ‘peg’ by tying back down into the main structure, let them flower in Spring and then cut back.
..gorgeous rose isn't it? and a large grower... I had to lose mine unfortunately..
..Rhapsode in Blue looks bluer than ever..
..well, it's another lovely day here, and I've taken so many pics but I shall limit to a few at a time.. I like to keep some ammo in reserve.. a few mysterious holes have appeared, which is nice, no guesses what's going in those.. 'Desdemona'.. 'Golden Memories'.. 'Golden Beauty'.. 'Lady of Shalott'.. 'A Midsummer Night's Dream'.. ..mixed roses..
'The Country Parson'... this will be in the ground shortly.. 'Ghislaine de Feligonde'... first season rebloom.. 'Nathalie Nypels'.. 'Sally Holmes'.. this has been slow for me [rose replant probably].. taking off now.. 'Pink Martini'. Aster 'Monch'.. a single plant..
'Wild Rover'... / 'Frilly Cuff'..red at the bottom.. 'Kew Gardens'.. 'Cornelia'.. 'Mme Antoine Mari'.. .hips on 'Scented Garden'.. Achnatherum /Stipa calamagrostis.. Ceratostigma willmottianum.. ..woo hoo !.. typically very dry..

@Tack @edhelka @Omori @JessicaS @Marlorena lovely rose pictures. I seem to be opening this thread first whenever I visit this gw forum. 😊
Forgot to add, @Tack, your seedlings are doing well. Hope we'll have new roses with your name/brand soon.
