@celcius_kkw It doesn’t have any scent unfortunately. And not very rain resistant so far. Quite healthy and vigorous and the flowers have a beautiful colour and shape. I’ll give her another season before I decide what to do with it.
..just to highlight a couple of hybrid teas I've become impressed with.. David Austin has appeared to revolutionise the HT industry, something I think he set out to do, as they now appear like English Roses..
'Pink Martini'.. a Tantau rose 2004.. with a strong scent of Tea..
@Lizzie27 ..Hi Lizzie,.. yes, I got them from Peter Beales, they are usually available bare root or potted but may be out of stock, I've not looked... they have both taken me by surprise as I'm not really an HT person..
Just catching up on all the lovely roses after a busy few days (more guests coming soon!)
@Tack, thanks re your experience with the milk spray. If it could be hosed off after doing it’s thing that would be ok, but otherwise seems pretty pointless, at least aesthetically.
Excellenz von Shubert - after an initial pretty show of blooms, this polyantha has spent all summer growing vigorously into an enormous, arched shrub. It’s super-healthy and attractive as a bush, but I want lots of blooms, so it will have to up it’s game next year:
Ivor’s Rose has finally picked up but it’s just not wowing me. Rather small and undistinguished blooms which show a marked tendency to proliferate:
Guy Savoy looking neon pink at the moment:
Very autumnal, hips of Rosa Moyesii Geranium:
Mountainous Northern Catalunya, Spain. Hot summers, cold winters.
..some exquisite blooms on 'Eustacia Vye' at the moment.. 'Cornelia'.. 'Desdemona'.. 'The Country Parson'.. not sure if I'll be keeping this one or not.. Aster 'Monch'.. still sparkling..

..your pavers are extraordinarily beautiful.. I first thought they were Navajo sand paintings...
@celcius_kkw
.. a light musky scent Adrian.. it repeats well..
..todays glam shot..
'Pink Martini'.. a Tantau rose 2004.. with a strong scent of Tea..
..exceptionally healthy foliage..
..well foliated, healthy upright plant... with blooms down to the base..
