I also love Grafin Diana @Omori , just beautiful blooms and stunning dark, healthy foliage. I haven't had a big flush together but there are always some blooms and they do last.
Artemis fell into my oline basket today. I was checking out with 1 item (Hydrangea Quercifolia Snowqueen) and I forgot I had another tab open where I had been looking at roses, I saved Artemis to look at later and oops. I suppose I could cancel it, does anyone have it?
I do love Dames de Chenoneaux, it will get a big pot next year. It is my most thirsty rose I thought this would be open today but I couldn't wait to share my second seedling's first bloom
The hip was on Carminia, the rose you kindly asked Martin Vissers about for me. I was expecting a pink like the parent and the first seedling. I'll give Artemis a go, thank you, I am still looking for a better white.
@tack I think you mentioned it before but what was your method for growing the seeds? I have some hips forming here and there and it would be fun to see what grows, but the guides online are rather involved.
@Omori Aren't they offputting? I looked at them last year and thought nah.
When I was potting up the TCL bare roots in autumn a brownish hip fell off one. This hip stayed on or around my potting bench for a couple of months, outside but under cover, until I idly wondered what it looked like inside. It looked like seeds so I planted them! Now I'm hoping I can repeat the trick
