Wonder if its production related the extra time? They must have to have huge numbers of the latest releases ready to sell these days with popularity so thats at least a years prep growing them on plus stocks to EU etc.
They did say releases plural, exciting...
I was pleased I ID'd lady emna hamilton and summer song in GW winter special e1 even before they named them so very excited for my new LEH to flower! Must say summer songs an incredibly striking colour.

@Marlorena I will wait for your opinion/ pics on growth and fragrance for La France...
My only wimpy rose specimen was from DA, Harlow Carr.. whether the growth of this plant is like that (they do mention it at 3ft or less I think) or if its just that particular specimen, I am not sure.. however the rose is happy with new growth all over..

What lovely hips you have there @Marlorena !

Was tempted by tottering. I’d like another single flowered rose. I saw some large flowered single roses at the DA gardens but can’t remember the names.

Maybe one of the new DA offerings will be single 🤔

@Omori - that would be great. I’m interested to see what they are and might even buy one if there’s anything exciting!

I think I need to move Vanessa Bell again - but after what happened last year (I butchered her roots) i’m nervous about it. I’m also considering moving Princess Alexandra of Kent into a large pot at the front of the house. She’s not thriving in the corner I’ve currently got her in, and if she ever did truly thrive, she’d probably be taking up too much room for the other roses there.

Have any of you grown mortimer sackler? I’m thinking of getting it to grow along a fence.
