We have Agapanthus in large pots.  One has not flowered, for 2 years. Finally got it out to divide . I think I might know why it didn't flower now.😄

I put mine in a three quarter acre pot this year, like out in flower beds, the flowers were huge, must have been 4’ tall I’m going to do that will all of them now.
They grow wild like that in Cornwall, just hope the frost doesn’t get them.

Mine (deciduous) have been planted out since 2014, @Lyn. Beast from the East and all that. Flowering their socks off now. They are happier in the ground  :)

The one I planted in the ground in Norfolk has lovely flowers, OH sent a photo. The ones here haven't flowered, I divided a big potful this spring, maybe they'll flower next year.

I went to the Nursery Open day and the big GC. I bought a Penstemon, a Salvia Azuria (looks a bit like Uliginosa) and an Amsonia Hubrichtii (never heard of it, have a different sort in Norfolk). The big GC was very poor, plants in bad condition and very expensive. A clematis viticella Mme Julia Correvon, with a lot of dead leaves, cost 35€!

Rain!  Lots of rain. Great!  I measured 31mm in the gauge this morning. There’s water laying all over the paddocks.  It is so long since we’ve seen that.
