Morning early wakers. Hubby is having his afternoon nap, so I’m playing with iPad puzzles. 😁😁. We have rain predicted, and they might even be right for a change. Clouds are appearing.
    Have a good one all.

    hiya @Dovefromabove,
No more sleep for me I'm afraid
    Devon.
  • Well it looks like you’ve got sunshine down your way @Hostafan1 … you’d better get out there and enjoy it … breakfast on the terrace?

You’d better stay indoors @Pat E if rains coming … no sitting out on the terrace with Hosta for you 😉

  • Morning folks, got up at 6.45,not sure what time I first woke up. Forecast is 24c today, sky is cloudless. Would love to go to a Prairie garden,it's about 30 miles away, but it doesn't open till one,and the old man has a "nurse check" at 3.50. my cousin sent me a cartoon yesterday about GP receptionist asking what people's problems were,I said you'd be very lucky to get near one.We went to the Dentist last week, I have a friend in Suffolk who says hers is only seeing emergencies till next year!

    Morning all.

It rained a bit in the night. More rain forecast with thunderstorms this afternoon. Then 31° early next week followed by storms and a lot of rain.

I've run out of instant coffee, urgent trip to Leclerc SM. Will pop into the small GC to see if they have any daffodil bulbs yet, they didn't last week.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • Morning all,  another grey start, but it feels a bit warmer.  I think I am going to have to give the garden a good watering today.  All this dank and bits of drizzle, but the ground is very dry.

Beautiful gardens @Allotment Boy - glad your visitors were impressed 👍🏻.

Back from our mini-break in Dorset. Went to Brownsea Island yesterday and saw lots of red squirrels scampering round the trees and burying nuts for later 🐿 - soooooo cute.

Passed my first set of RHS exams (with some gold stars thrown in for good measure ☺️).  I’m delighted.  Gives me a boost to study for the next (and final) lot in a months time.

Off to meet an old work friend in London for lunch.  Then we are off to visit the gardens at Buckingham Palace 👑
  • Hurrumph ... flat battery ... serves me right ... should've gone out a bit more ... never mind ... I'm currently on hold to the AA.  I'll put the kettle on .........
