Morning folks, busy day ahead.went to bed at midnight, still awake at 4, thought no point in worrying. Visiting my cousin in her 90s, haven't seen her for over a year. Will be interesting! She is VERY outspoken, I'll put it politely. No doubt have something to say about my shoulder length hair! She lives now about halfway between me and disabled son,so then on to him with fruit and veg from the garden. Collecting grandkids from school for the weekend, but that's another 10 miles,so not feasible to return home. Probably pop in and see their mum at work (it's a big store) All the garden is bone dry, have to have a big watering session. Why is holiday in this country called 'Staycation" my staycation,is staying at home.
Sunny again and set to say that way all day but we may, possibly, get a dribble late tomorrow afternoon but seeing is believing as they say.
Clearing sort of day then, putting away the parasol on the terrace, emptying the garage so the cars can go back in - it's full of garden chairs I'm slowly sanding, rust treating and painting and some director's chairs I need to sand and re-cover. They can go in the ruin now the migrants have flown south for the winter.
Have a lovely holiday @Dovefromabove and a good day to all Forkers.
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

Left it a bit late haven't you, @Hostafan1? Enjoy yourselves.
Morning all.
I'm up late again as I read my book in bed. I wanted to finish it so I could take a new one to Lourdes. Leaving early afternoon, will pick the boys up from school with Son. Hard to know what to pack. The mornings and evenings are chilly, jeans and pullover, the afternoons are mid 20s, dress. Mustn't forget appropriate shoes for both or the Bovril for Son and the baby sleeping bag they left here, or camera and phone. I always forget something. Forgot my phone when I went to Daughter's.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
