Can you come and do mine please?  It's next on my list but just may have to wait till tomorrow.

Pleased your meeting with Dove and her OH cheered you up. Friends are so invaluable aren't they? We're meeting up with some of ours tomorrow for a pub lunch.

That sounds like a lunch to remember @steephill
Glad you arrived safe and sound @Dovefromabove - and how lovely for you to meet up with @Hostafan1 - I can imagine some of the gossip! St.Ives is so special - haven't been there since I was a teenager.  That beach! Gorgeous!
I'm with you on the cleaning front @Lizzie27 - wish I had more of @Nanny Beach's drive!
I now have a big blank area where the HF infected viburnum tinus was.  I've put some lovely compost from the bottom of the compost bin on it and chopped up the french bean vines and spread those on top too.  That will help improve the soil, ready for the arrival of the bare rooted Cercis chinensis 'Avondale' that I've ordered - coming late Nov/early Dec.  Cercis is apparently more resistant to honey fungus than other things. Not something I've grown before so looking forward to it.

    Hi all

Back from a few days in hospital.
Not terribly good news, so please excuse any absences, or ruder than usual posts.
    I will explain more later.
