    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
    Great pic @chicky 😊

The day after tomorrow won’t be a Groundhog Day @Hostafan1 … we’ll be arriving for coffee and croissants 😆 😆 😆

i hope I remember not to leave your present on our doorstep this time 🙄… although it’ll just look like a pot of mud … it’s dying down for the winter … arisaema tormentosum … you don’t already have one do you?

Morning folks, dishwasher done emptied and put away. All the washing up to date this week. Wednesday out with friend day. Brilliant again but 9c outside. Yesterday this time it was 16c. Hello, Hosta, have been thinking about you. Obelixx, bed has 200 bulbs.(the cyclamen aren't for there,) have got echinacea, and perennial poppies, and aquilegia, all grown from free Garden mag seeds to go in, hopefully will look nice next spring
Doesn't look much now with the plants that size. The agapanthus and dahlias will go in next spring, after the frosts

  • Great pic @chicky, how were the crowds? We thought about going but were a bit concerned as it's usually heaving in a normal year.

Just noticed that Spellcheck did it’s usual thing of changing my spelling. A. tormentosum.  I’ve just looked at it and it’s completely died down so I’ve dressed the pot with grit … that way it won’t look totally like a pot of mud 🤣

Morning all, what a difference in the weather today, blue sky and warm sun. The car had it's annual service yesterday just the usual oil changes etc nothing major to be done this time around. Lovely picture of Chelsea @chicky I think they should keep the show to this time of the year.
SM for us this morning, is your packing finished @Dovefromabove? Not long now   B)
Catch up with you all later.
  • Our village had two annual horticultural shows a year … early summer and autumn … what a village committee can organise successfully maybe the RHS can attempt? 😉

    Good morning all.
Sunny here, will do some gardening. My handyman is here, he's been cutting the Leylandii hedge. I wouldn't have chosen to plant it in the first place.

I'm glad you had a good time at the Chelsea Flower Show, @chicky, but I knew you would. Wish I could go. Gorgeous photo. Looking forward to more.

  • Hello @Busy-Lizzie 😊… has the Leylandii been well maintained in the past?

@floralies it’s all in heaps but not yet in the suitcases. … we’ve just filled up with petrol and bought supplies for our journey so we don’t have to stop to eat in crowded service stations …  coffee now then we’ll fill the suitcases, fill the bread rolls, pack steri milk coffee, tea and a few such oddments for when we get there … then we’ll be nearly done.
NDN will feed the hedgehogs and keep an eye on things … getting excited now 😜

@Dovefromabove the RHS has shows thru the year from Cardiff to Malvern then Chelsea, Hampton Court and Tatton in addition to events in all its gardens!  Trying to do two Chelsea shows a year may be a step too far in terms of sponsors and exhibitors not  to mention the grounds of the Chelsea Hospital.

Sunny here too @Busy-Lizzie but no gardening.  Working up a patchwork tutorial for our beginners instead.   I have a Zoom conference at 1pm so need to stay clean and dance practice this evening so not much time to go and get mucky.  Too dry to garden anyway.  Waiting for rain here is a bit like that Godot chap.

@D0rdogne_Damsel your programme sounds good but loaded.  Don't forget to factor in Charlie time as well as DD time.
