I bet that policemen who accepted the legal papers served on Prince Andrew feels a bit curmudgeonly this morning as he sees his chance of doing anything more than pound the beat evaporate faster than water on the surface of the sun.

  • Unfair if he/ she gets sanction for this.  I'd have thought the process server has messed up considering they must be taught the rules of serving papers.

I don't see how Prince Andrew can be considered to having been served the papers. He was in Balmoral and the papers were served in Windsor.  But I wonder if an exchange might work - we give the US Prince Andrew, they give us the Ambassador's wife who killed Harry Dunn. (That's a win-win for us, but shh, don't tell them that).

Absolutely up for that ... can't think of anyone who wouldn't be ... including most of the Royal Family 👿

Not an Ambassador's wife tho' ... she's married to a CIA agent ... apparently ...

Brilliant suggestion! Forward your post to your MP, didyw. Or launch it as a petition, I’d bet it would have millions of signatures before you could bat an eyelid.

I'm waiting for all the complaints to the BBC after the announcer this morning said papers had been served on Prince William!  They quickly then said Prince Andrew but didn't actually apologise for saying Prince William in the first place.  They may have officially corrected it later.

Send Andrew to America but for goodness sakes don’t send that other pair back.

They daren’t start that, Nanny Beach, they’d need a whole programme to fit it all in.
