Good to hear it @Hostafan1 :disappointed:

We've just booked our holiday for September '22 ... we've not even had this year's yet!!!

"back in the day" We'd often have 3 booked in advance and that didn't include spur of the moment long weekends in Gran Canaria
    Devon.

Belated morning folks. Got up early did 3 blackberry crumbles at cheap rate. Just done click and collect, shopping. Grandkids being dropped off by their dad tomorrow, quick batten down the hatches! Might take them to a butterfly farm Friday.
  • Morning all , haven't seen the Van Gogh ...did go to see the Nero exhibition at the British museum in a brief dry spell over the weekend - I really enjoyed it but felt it was quite crowded in spite of the timed ticket entry - am sure that's at least partly due to my having recalibrated  what "crowded" is over the last year.

Your meal out sounds yummy @Lizzie27. My OH can't walk far either but he has a mobility scooter and the fish place said I could drive into the harbour area and drop him off outside the restaurant.

Hello everyone.  Been busy so far doing patch club admin and then off out shopping for oil and lemons to feed the last 2 oak jobbies in the dining room, a builders' merchant for fine steel wool to apply it and then a plant shop to get compost and some veggie plugs dived into the trolley too.   Pressure for OH to make the next raised bed.

Now to do a last bit of admin and have lunch then get mucky.  Furniture to feed and plants to pot up and plant out.

@WonkyWomble - be patient reading the book and do go from start to finish as she explains how and why muscles work as they do and how that affects bones and makes you think about all the assumptions you've ever made about how the body works before helping you correct bad habits with understanding and, one hopes, permanent improvement.   Very interesting stuff.

Hope OH's belated birthday lunch goes well @Busy-Lizzie.

    Hi all

Lovely sunny day here, so having a good potter.

The news is looking promising, a sold sign has appeared at the end of the drive, hopefully will help to cheer Moira up, as she is distraught about her Mum.

Even prouder that when I phoned my sister to speak to niece, she was down the pub.
