Good morning all. Lovely day here and I am only at work until lunchtime so an afternoon in the garden and at the allotment beckons. I need to get it all tidy for the bbq tomorrow.
Morning Debs, its certainly looking good for your BBQ tomorrow. Hope work runs smoothly and you can get a few hours - if rather hot and sticky ones - tidying in the allotment and in your garden. I am going to attempt some garden work this morning whilst it might be a bit cooler. Might watch the Challenge Cup Final this afternoon.

More horrific and heartbreaking news and shocking pictures of the devastation from Germany and Belgium. I remember my Ozzie brother having a school holiday in Valkenberg many moons ago and he loved the place. We drove through it once on a motoring holiday to Austria - very picturesque.

My sis and bro-in-law are not too happy with the Government's announcement last night about people returning from France having to isolate for 10 days. It won't really have much effect on them but it will ruin their children's chances of taking a holiday out there.

Morning everyone, had a bad nights sleep.... haven't had one like that for awhile. Just laid awake till gone 3 then woke again at 5ish and then slept till just after 7 😫 Will have a lazy day today. Morning Ruby. They are very philosophical about it, just irritated that their children and grandchildren won't be able to join them as has long been the practice in the family.
Its lovely in the garden now and I'm off out now until the heat gets too much - or elevenses. Whichever comes sooner.
