Me too! It's a Vipers Bugloss, just appeared next to the foxgloves - perfectly timed for them going over! I almost pulled it, but sometimes I leave things to see how they turn out - I'm so glad I did!
Thanks for the Cordyline flower photos - mine are much too high up to see in any detail, and by the time they fall down they're all dried up. Beautiful.
I look close-up all the time - have to be reminded to look at the whole picture! This week I've really enjoyed Echinops, Alchemilla mollis, Pelargonium tomentosum, Sempervivum and Crocosmia buds.
