Close up of flowers

  • One of the indoor plants that we inherited more than 21 years ago, when we moved to our present house. The previous owners just left them behind. I have no idea what it is, but water it faithfully every Monday morning.

    It looks like Haworthia.

    I've been looking right back at the early posts on this thread. Totally stunning. The close-ups absolutely fascinate me. Some of the earliest comments about how much we miss when we look at flowers, speak volumes. We so often glance at a flower and say it's beautiful, without seeing the intricate tiny details. 

    Thank you for starting this. And thank you to so many for opening my eyes. Suddenly, I find there are so many flowers I want to try out.

    @rowlandscastle444 Thanks for that. I really do enjoy seeing so many stunning photos of amazing plants "from a bees view".
    I have just been out to take some photos in the garden. Haven't looked yet but hope some of them are up to scratch.
