Hello Punkdoc. Glad your holiday was so special. Love your photos.
We’ve woken this morning to minus 8 and a very heavy frost. 😳

Hubby is still snuggled down under the bedclothes. Don’t blame him.

    Good morning to you all.
Hot, steamy and humid this morning and rain forecast for this afternoon.  (Not unwelcome!!)  The garden is growing well and inviting all the mosquitoes and pests to "grow" with them!!

-8°C @Pat E is far too cold to get out of bed.  Grab some tea and hop back in - your hubby has the right attitude!!

@punkdoc  What a lovely holiday that must have been.  I spent some time in Lanarkshire some (many) years ago (Hogmanay).  What a beautiful area it was!  Freezing cold though!

    Have a good day everyone.

Thinking of you Dove,(,very dental phobic,) must make appointment. Up at 6, but a seriously rubbish night, yet again. Wet at the moment, was nice all day yesterday, just started raining in the evening, don't mind that, saves watering. Plenty to do indoors. Enjoy your day folks

    Hi all.

I’ve got used to the temp as the day progressed. We even went for a little wander up our hill and picked up some dry sticks for the fire. It’s helps to get them into the firebox to get the bigger wood to catch. I’m very glad that we have a good supply of the bigger stuff. 👏👏

Hope you all have a good day.

Ps. Hope your day isn’t too awful, Dove.  Not my favourite health visit to have, but we all have to go through it eventually. 😳

Wet start here which is annoying, we had enough yesterday evening and night.  Didn't make it to the plots yesterday,  waiting for a return call from GP surgery.
    Condolences to @steephill.
Glad you had a good time @punkdoc, hope our trip to Scotland next week goes well.

Thank you all for your kind thoughts, much appreciated.
Had a sore head for the last few days, not from too many fine wines but a bee sting I got on Saturday. I had just started clearing a weedy bank when I noticed a bit more buzzing than usual, then lots of small angry bees. There must be a ground nest in there which I disturbed. As the spot was next to a large cotoneaster which is positively vibrating with lots of different pollinators I was a bit slow in picking up the extra angry buzzing until it was too late and one was in my hair drilling my skull. OH had a look at the sting site and said it looks infected.
