Really enjoyed the match, not the usual biting of nails

I like some coleus , bur somone posted a pic on a forum of one she was raving about the gorgeous lemon and lime combination. To me it looked like a stinging nettle with veinal chlorosis.

    Good morning

We have sunshine too @Dovefromabove but it comes with a cold wind.   Expected high of 28°C p.m. which is much more pleasant than 32° but no good for my peppers. Plenty of tomatoes, but nothing ripe, yet.   Not even a cherry tom.  I hope your tooth cavity is ok today.

Speaking of names.  A good friend married a man whose surname is Hooker.

@Obelixx and @Busy-Lizzie   Bon appétit!!  We are making the most of our local restaurants too during the summer - while we can.  There is talk ...of an imminent lockdown.  Numbers are going up unfortunately.  Good luck OB for the knee injection today.  I hope these jabs will help as they are mighty uncomfortable to have!  You should rest a bit after having one, you know.  Chill.  So BL.  Are you prolonging your stay in the UK until the autumn?

@Hostfan  You made my morning with your wish for a new abode -  what a great thought!!   :D:D   I hope you get your hubby's care sorted out quickly.

@D0rdogne_Damsel  Nicely decorated cake.  What was the inside?   Don't forget to put your feet up when you can.  The housework will always be there tomorrow...!

We're on the Italian side down here!!

I know that @Pat E  is experiencing some cold weather down there.  Melbourne had some shattering weather in the hills a little while back.  Electricity cuts etc.  It's soooo cold in Melbourne in winter.

    Have a good day everyone.

Hi Tui. Yes we are feeling the cold weather, but it’s ok.  At least we can keep the house warm with our wood heater. 👏👏

Is there any chance that you could watch the entire game on Sunday as well @Busy-Lizzie? I've worked out a correlation between your football viewing habits and 55 years of English failures ;)

Morning folks, quick dip in,thanks Dove, I gathered from the backlash, that the term "Karen" wasn't anything positive. The only Karen I know is one of our ward sisters, who is absolutely amazing. Shopping today, yuck. Have done my curmudgeon for the day. Oh,funny think took the dogs out last night, saw post van, thought he's out late,he asked for a particular road, hubby pointed, told him he thanked us,and went off in a. different direction!

    Good morning all.

Yes, @Biglad I'll be watching on Sunday.  :disappointed:

I agree with you about coleus @Hostafan1, good description of that one.

@tui34, I have to be in France for baby grandson's baptism on the 28th August. Playing it by ear, but I'm here for a bit.

I'm going to help clear up the vicarage garden this afternoon. Vicar left over a year ago and it's a mess on the village street, so overgrown.

Good morning Forkers.  I was allowed to sleep thru till 8am this morning with no dawn  prodding from That Cosmos cat and no knee throbbing.   Am sat watching the morning news whilst soaking feet pre shower and SM run.   OH has texted to say he's on the road and should be here by 13:00 so I'll be able to help unload before I have to go for next jab and then have to rest.

I remember 1966 too @Dovefromabove but didn't watch it then and am not watching it now.  I'll keep that up if it's OK @Biglad

Sunny but cool here with clouds building but should stay dry.  It'd be nice to have a bit more warmth but not complaining.   My toms and chillies are all in the polytunnel @tui34.  We have some flowers on the toms but no fruit yet.

I find coleus either look garish or sick @Hostafan1
