Lots of things for you to look forward to then @chicky.

Hostafan, that might explain a lot of hubby’s problems. Hoping there is some decent access to hospice care, including at home if that is what you’d prefer. Make sure you prioritise looking after yourself as well. Hugs.

Imagine trying to get planning for a house that size now?
"Not in keeping" and NIMBYs would block it for sure

I was in my prison camp veg plot just now planting up some late french beans when I heard rustling as something came charging through the hedge from the commons. It was "our" roe doe looking very distressed as she ran round me to get to the other side of the house for shelter. Normally when she runs it is very quick and graceful but she was labouring hard and looking like something about to be run down by a pack of wolves, clearly been chased hard for some distance. As we don't have wolves it must have been some idiot with their dog off the leash. >:)

Morning all, we're back from a very enjoyable holiday in Suffolk at a very impressive hotel. Built in 1530 by the lawyer to Elizabeth the First.  Talk about walking in the steps of history! Food was jolly good as well.
Visited Woodbridge, Aldeburgh  Southwold, (wet and windy on the pier), Helmingdon Hall Gardens (pics on Garden Visits) and Framlingham Castle.
Got to sort out the house today as visitors expected for the weekend.

You'll have passed within a stone's throw of the farm where I grew up ... glad you had a lovely time.

    Hello everyone.

I am very sad to hear the news about your husband @Hostafan1. I know we don’t know each other but I offer a hug and cuppa. I hope you can have some quality time together with whatever care and help he needs.

Sorry to hear about your husband’s news @patE. I hope he can continue contributing to his service in other ways.

Take care everyone. I’m just settling in for some tennis. Fancy a 5 set spectacular please.
My garden and I live in South Wales.
