We have rain!  Supposed to be dry and grey and cool for the next few days but there's a steady drizzle falling.  No matter.  OH has been busy in the PT sorting out the tomatoes and I am pottering quietly and doing gentle sorting of kitchen stuff and fridge and freezer contents.  Possum is as bad as I am at collecting varieties of rice and noodles and spice pastes........

Sounds like our kitchen cupboards, Obelixx.  The funny thing is that he can never find that special product that he bought. 🙄. I can usually dig it out, though.

Hello everyone! I hope you have all had a good summer so far, just popping in to check how you’re all doing.
I finally got my garden off to a good start and it’s looking lovely and blooming!

Hi all, I've managed to read back and get a handle on what's going on.....very special hugs to @Hostafan1 and a very happy birthday to MrE @Pat E.

Holiday mode has well and truly kicked in here, so very difficult with such a small amount of key staff, apparently everyone is short staffed, no one can find staff.. We're doing about 100 150 meals a day with two or three good waitresses and me and one other chef , who is temperamental at best! There was a queue down the street today to come in - really, really scary! One of my poor waitresses also left her husband today, so more drama to come....so it goes on.

I'm desperately trying to manage the garden but it's all too much, I hate to see it getting away from me.

Charlie has had a wonderful holiday, that's good, but I should be with him really, he's fed up with CdeG...tricky!  I've promised a ski holiday in February. Both of us love skiing, it's always a special break.
