    Good morning all.
@D0rdogne_Damsel, I wonder if you might be able to get Charlie "involved" in CdG?
Maybe he could try out cake recipes to introduce as " Charlie's specials" or design advertising / posters . I'm thinking if he feels some sort of personal investment / pride, ownership kinda thing .
Sorry if you've thought of all this before.
Failing that. February and skiing aren't THAT far away
    Hugs to you both.

    Good morning folks 😊 ☕️
    Love your rainbow pics @Hostafan1
    @D0rdogne_Damsel <waving smiley> you have a PM.

I’ve woken to thick fog but the songthrush is singing away and it’s getting brighter … I think the sun will soon burn it off.

    Really good rainbow photos Hosta.

I’ve changed tonight’s menu to chicken stew. I didn’t fancy the broth. I like a bit more body in my soup/stew.   Smells good.

Getting hungry here @Pat E …enough to spare for me to have a small bowl of it for breakfast? 🍲. Hope Mr E is enjoying his Special Day 🥳 🎁

    Morning all.

    Gorgeous rainbow @Hostafan1 😊

You take care @D0rdogne_Damsel. I hope you can fit some down-time in.

Awake early (for a Sunday) as one of my team messaged me with some sad personal news, so I am having a cuppa in bed now. Bit late nodding off too as next door we’re having a party outside until 2am. I can’t be too annoyed though as it was a family gathering as part of a wake/ memorial celebration.

Do I make the most of an early start or nod back off?? Rain forecast later so hoping for a 5 set tennis final.

    Have a pleasant Sunday folks.

Happy Birthday Mr @PatE Enjoy your meal.

Yes, very tempting odours coming from the kitchen, Dove.  There should be enough for you as well.

Thanks everyone for Hubby’s birthday wishes.  He sends his thanks you.
The phone has been very busy.

Another cool, dull, grey day here.   Fine for indoor pottering I suppose.

Hope OH enjoys his birthday dinner @Pat E

Love your rainbow and agapanthus @Hostafan1

@D0rdogne_Damsel maybe trim your sails and have a designated day when you are closed and reduced opening hours on others.  No point wearing out yourself or your staff trying to be open all the time.  Better for Charlie too to know he has a Mum day each week.

    Good morning to you all!

@Hostafan1  Nice shots!  Good ideas for DD to include Charlie.

@D0rdogne_Damsel   "La saison" !!  Yes, I've been there and done that, and it's draining on everyone.  The guilt feelings fly around like mad and you're trying to run a business.  Tempers are short as the tiredness sets in. The heat doesn't help.   Charlie is at an age now where he needs you, but he doesn't want to.  Hosta has some good ideas to try and get Charlie into your day, but he'll probably just poo-poo them as it's easier to stay at home and watch Netflix etc.  Anyway, these ideas are activities he can do from home.  I can only wish you well, as the only thing you can do is get on with your business and see the season through.  Your venture is a success obviously if you have queues outside.  You can't be everywhere and it's only for a short time of the year.  Anyway, Macron is appearing on TV on Monday evening, and that doesn't look good.

Have a pleasant summer's day all of you.
