We're with you @Hostafan1 ... fingers crossed that they find the problem is something that is fixable ((hugs))

Yes @Dovefromabove, I am very surprised that I seem to be having a social life, because to be honest I was thinking COVID hadn't really made much different to me, in that respect.

    Good morning all.

We are having a social life today, we are going to lunch at a local pub with a couple of good friends who I haven't seen for a year. They have been kind to Cedric while he was here on his own so he has seen them.

I never had much of a social life, the odd coffee out with a neighbour, gardens for charity, one open today. Wellies comfortable,no way, horrible things. I borrowed my daughter's Hunters thinking maybe price would make a difference, still horrible.ihave got "proper" walking Boots,we live opposite the south downs, muddy, and wet chalk is slippery, add the steepness. I bought some walking boot/fitness trainers a couple of months ago, they are amazing,VERY lightweight indeed, inner arch support, outer gel mid strike point. They have side zip and stretchy laces, with a toggle, great for the arthritis,/tendonitis. The downside, warm lining, great for winter

    Hello all,

Congratulations to Chicklette @chicky. What a result with all she has had to endure.

Glad to hear you're ok after dentist @Dovefromabove, unexpected bonus.

@Busy-Lizzie enjoy you're lunch, nice to be able to catch up with old friends. Shame about the hip delay. 😏

Charlie and his dad have gone on holiday so peaceful here, I'm going to try and get some proper tidying up done whilst they're gone when I get in from work, they both just dump stuff wherever they finish with it. It'll just be nice to have a clear out whilst they're not looking, a bit like you @Obelixx, much easier when they're not there.

Just finished making a cake for a Mick Jagger fan.

It's my 'day off' but it was good to do it quietly at home. I have to deliver it later and have been invited to stay for tea, but I need to be back at work at 6pm because although my new chef is very good I'm not comfortable leaving her just yet.

Anyway, must crack on, nice to catch up with you all (almost) forget to say glad you had a nice break @punkdoc, enjoy yours too @Allotment Boy

Have a good day all. 😘
