    I've never seen a black person. I've never seen a white person. We are all on the pinky beige to dark brown spectrum. Some have more melanin than others. Some have less.

    Can I be curmudgeonly about patients in hospital who just turn their TV up SO loud, rather than use ear phones.

    he was talking ( by which I mean bellowing ) with the nurse and he said " HOW LONG ARE THESE HOMOS GOING TO BE HERE?"

    I'd be more inclined to tweak the lead to his television.
