@Nanny Beach  What did it say about the docket on the Sale of Goods Act?  You could ask you speak to the person responsible for that area and cite the Sale of Goods Act.  Next time keep the dockets on stuff for at least a month.

You could ring your bank and ask them to Email/post you your statement for May.
    Good luck

@Nanny Beach  Depending on the price of the plant, a trip to the bank could be worth it.  Can you do something else while you are there - supermarket shop etc.?

Then tell them that Nanny - at the Garden Centre.  Get your claws out and talk in a very loud voice!!  Draw attention.

PS.  Maybe take a photo of dockets with your phone or iPad and keep for a month.

Print out a copy of the Sale of Goods Act before you go.  Tell them you will give a bad report on social media.  You go, girl!!

    Thinking of you today @punkdoc.
    That is some echium Dove!
I think if it was me @Nanny Beach I'd just chalk it up to rotten luck and move on - the stress of having to do something about it just wouldn't be worth it for me.  That said, I would message/email the garden centre and let them know that you had been miss sold a plant and that they should check their labelling.  I usually look up plants I like the look of as soon as I get them home.
Did anyone else have problems getting on here this morning?  I kept getting an error message.  Now I'm just in to get some shade for a minute before getting back out there. It's lovely having a South facing garden but with the sun full on me in the area I'm working on today - phew!
