Ok that’s fair enough. Maybe something more at a later date? Or do you think ‘once will be enough’?

Thanks Dove for the farmshop info - probably a bit too far from us but if ever we are in that neck of the woods...  Your transformation looks fabulous @Busy-Lizzie.  What an awful job @punkdoc, but maybe some of your mum's friends had some nice memories to share with you.
We lined the streets for the funeral cortege of a local lady who taught ballet and flamenco here yesterday.  Lots and lots of people out wearing her favourite colour - purple, or in full flamenco costume, clicking their castanets.  It was all rather lovely.

I watched my uncle's funeral on video back in January but it felt really odd. The camera of course was pointing at the back of the people sitting and with masks on, I couldn't really identify anyone when they filed out. I knew they were probably his widow, his 6 adult children and possibly their partners. (I think only 12 were allowed then).  I felt bad about it as we'd always gone to all the other family funerals. It's a very large family.

Like the before and after pics BL and the floor tiles, just the job as Obelixx points out.

I've been planting and potting on most of the day, it takes ages and I've now run out of MPC, should have bought some yesterday.

My my you have all been busy and chatty today.  Volunteer day for me too, I  do like going but it's not the same now, as due to the restrictions, I hardly see any of the rest of the team. They have a new set of apprentices,  but I've not really met them .
We have had  several funerals where its been video only some better than others.  Some like yours @Lizzie27, only seeing the back of people's heads, but the last one was much better felt much more like being there,  so maybe they are getting the hang of it.

    Evening all,

Back from a bit of planting in youngest's garden. The weather on t'other side of the Pennines was a lot better than here.

Need an early night as it's track session Friday in the morning :o

Evening. Sorry if I haven’t said hello on the June thread yet. Can we call it Summer now? Springwatch is cutting it fine if so.

Shattered after work so just having an evening of catching up on some tv (and chocolate) - bit boring, but my tired brain and feet need it.

    Have a relaxing night everyone.

A valued member of our Norfolk village died during the lockdown last year. The hearse drove very slowly up the street and everyone stood on the pavements and waved.

We did the same last  TV year for our neighbour’s funeral ... the funeral director started the cortège from our neighbour’s house.

Its been a a lovely evening ... night night all 🥱

    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
No idea why the phone put ‘TV’ there in my previous post? 😦
Another morning of sunshine and blue skies but it looks as if we’ve got some rain heading in this direction later ...
I discovered yesterday that slugs and/or snails have had a go at Clematis Queen Mother ... I think the army should come and mount guard ... and then send them to The Tower
