    Thank you @Songbird-1.
Glad you had a good day @Ladybird4.

I've been painting bookcases and I've mowed the lawn. Trying to get the study ready as daughter 1 is coming this weekend with her family. Oldest grandson may want to sleep in it.

Tomorrow will be busy. I'm going to the market first thing, I've ordered sausages from the English farm stall and I need some veg. Then I'll be cleaning the 2 guest rooms and the new study and making beds.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Goodness me @Busy-Lizzie, you are living up to your name but it will be lovely for you to see your daughter and family.
SGL, glad you feel better after your haircut. I agree with Hazel about hair seeming to grow far more quickly in the Summer.
Hazel, have a wonderful day tomorrow with 23. Perhaps all the energy and activity will help you get a decent night's sleep tomorrow night.

    Evening all,

Just returned home with eldest having spent the afternoon with youngest. Planted the peas and loganberries. Also a lot of weeding and pruning. Finished off by sowing some sunflowers, zinnia, cosmos and cornflowers.

As anticipated everything wouldn't fit in the car so we'll probably need to borrow a van to get the MIL's garden bench over the border.

Could be a busy day tomorrow. Training at the crack of dawn so can't wait for that :o

Good morning all. Had a bad few days at work as surgery are taking an extra 24 hours to process prescription requests and the customers seem to think it’s our fault plus low staffing levels mean we are very behind with everything. I am struggling with the heat too and feeling a bit old and tired of work but I don’t think I will ever be able to afford to retire.
Graham escaped on Wednesday and we eventually found him yesterday so work will be needed to make the enclosure more secure.
Fiancé is off for a few days so lifts home and delicious meals are helping and I am so looking forward to time in the garden this weekend. He is catering a wedding on Saturday hoping it’s the first of many. We are off to allotment first thing today before I go to work then he needs to build Stalag tortoise!
You all sound busy and happy. Enjoy the sunshine today whatever you are up to.

A very good morning Debs, Ruby and all to follow. I'm a bit later this morning as I have been hanging out the cloth things from Lily's TV load I did yesterday - hoping to get out before going to Bestie's but because of rain I didn't bother. Its glorious out there again. Hope Biglad is enjoying his early morning training session. Must make my SM list now.
What a little rascal Graham is. Good job he isn't Usain Bolt and you found him. Sorry work is a pain again Debs. Just keep going and ignore the snipes from disgruntled customers.

    Morning all,

I've done my scampering ;) around the track for the day so now I can enjoy the weather. Not a Winkleman or Pellow in sight :D

I've got some taxiing to do later but, other than that, should be able to get outside for most of the day :)
