Busy-Lizzie Thank you. You sound very well prepared for your daughter & family’s stay, it will be wonderful to meet your new grandson tomorrow and have lunch all together enjoy the weekend,
Yvie That was a productive day in the garden, lots done. It must have been nice to have an evening out at 2nd borns and for your OH to see some of his colleagues. Good news that the speech therapist has been in touch, hope all goes well with the meeting on Monday,
Bluebells Hope you & Alfie are nicely settled down for the evening Goodnight,

Evening everyone. I seem to have been lucky here as they has been no Marti at all today. It was quite toasty when I was outside. I shopped very early and when I got home there was a note pushed through my door from the neighbours - those of half cow fame in the week. They are off to Blackpool for the weekend and want me to take in their milk tomorrow morning. On the bovine front they like things BIG. They get one of those plastic 4pt bottles so I will have to do a rejig in my fridge to accommodate. I'm glad I get dinky little 1pt glass bottles.
Whilst I was at the SM two plants leapt into my trolley. A gaura, with dark plummy red foliage and a salvia. They were a bit thirsty but soon perked up after I got them home.
I sat and watched all the bee activity in my garden today. My choisya, even though its going over now, was absolutely buzzing with honey bees. Two of my bird nest boxes have been taken over by tree bumblebees and its fascinating watching them to-ing and fro-ing round the nest entrances.
Sorry to hear that your voice is still absent (though maybe its come back throughout today) SGL .
I do hope that Hazel is not too shattered after a busy day with 23. She will have loved every minute I'm sure.
RosieBB, its lovely that you had some family time together and I'm counting the cats in that too.
Chive, glad you had a nice morning with your Mum. Those are precious times.
Yvie, good news about the speech therapist. Small, positive steps each day.
Busy, you have some super times over this weekend to look forward to. Seeing Baby C will be top of everyone's list.
Biglad, the minute those rain dancers turn up at the crease in their white costumes you know it will put the kiss of death on sunshine!
Debs, there is something very special about the scent of sweet peas. It can be quite intoxicating.

Quite a north-south contrast today then @Ladybird4. Would've been a full days play in my back garden. Although the wicket might be a bit sticky after no-mow May :D

I found this today - obviously forgot to press post! What a twonk.
I am signing out for tonight. I've spent all day today thinking that it is Sunday tomorrow. No clue why to be honest but it will be good to get up tomorrow, get into my gardening scruff and going to spend another day outside. See you all then.

Good morning Ruby, you snuckered in there. I also meant to say that your last posts wasn't there last night when I THOUGHT I had posted my message Biglad and SGL, so yes, we were very lucky here in the north west with our weather. SGL, I do hope that your voice is even less croaky today.
