Good Morning LB & Rubee and all to follow,
LB Love the little clip of the bluetits bathing, they are sweet little birds. Lucky neighbours you are able to do help them out, have a good day in your garden,
Rubee How is your OH, has he been able to sleep any better recently? Hope you are getting a better nights rest too,
SGL Pleased that your voice has started to return, hopefully today it will be better still. Hope you have a good day ahead,
Hope Hazel and OH enjoyed their day with 23 lots of fun,
Dry forecast today, wet things are hanging out, I want to tidy the blackberry Bush it’s growing in all directions.
    Have a good day everyone.

Good morning all. Love the picture LB I can see the real things in neighbouring bird bath this morning but with goldfinches.  Early trip to town this morning for a few essentials ( and a gorgeous bunch of pink/ lilac stocks from the local Lidl,) got a bunch for sister too she is popping round later for a chat and like me adores the scent of stocks.
Garden needs weeding and tidying so got a busy day. Note to self... apply sunscreen!!!
Hope you all have a good day, thoughts to those in the quiet corner!

Morning everyone, a sunny morning here too. Just walked down to the shed and garden is very wet. But everything looks green and lush.
Beautiful picture @Ladybird4 we have bluetits nesting in our garden. Such sweet little birds.
Thank you, voice is a bit better this morning, but still a bit croaky. Goodness knows why, it doesn't hurt at all 🤷🏻‍♀️
Lovely pic too @debs64 You've been busy this morning, shopping done already. Love stocks too, lovely smell and so pretty.  Have a lovely catch up with your sister.
@Yviestevie great news about speech therapist. Hope your OH is feeling well.
Good luck with the Blackberry bush @Chivetalking hope  you don't get too scratched. I did ours a couple of weeks ago, it was getting huge and taking over the end of the garden.
Have a lovely day everyone, hope you all have sunshine and are able to play in the garden 😉

o  Daughter 1 and family aren't coming. Son, 14, had a football accident yesterday, fell and a large boy trod on his hand. They have just spent most of the night in the very busy A & E in Poitiers hospital and are exhausted. A bone is broken.

Son 1 had bought food for lunch but it's now cancelled and he's invited his best friend and family tomorrow to help eat it. I may go then to see the new baby.

Good Morning Debs, SGL, Hazel & Busy-Lizzie,
Debs Stocks have a beautiful perfume what a lovely treat for you & your sister enjoy your chat today, love the Goldie having a bath,
SGL Luckily the Blackberry Bush is a thorn free variety our garden is too small to having anything that fights back 😅, I’m glad your voice is better, all the excitement of seeing your family properly maybe,
Ah busy-Lizzie what a dreadful shame so disappointing for you after all the preparation, hope your grandsons hand repairs well what a very misfortunate accident. Hope at least you can go and meet your new grandson tomorrow, best wishes to you.

Hazel @Songbird-1 Sorry I meant to  say on my previous post that you had a wonderful day out with 23 and what a lovely greeting he gave you both, equally delighted to be with you 🤗
Great photo of the Meercat & the little monkey such a lot to see, but I would have felt the same about the Tarantula 😱 The weather was perfect for your day, have a nice relaxing one today 😎
  • LB what a lovely video to start the day, bluetits bathing.  I keep going back to watch it again.  Dad had made some home baked bread and I had a visit.  Mum had been in the garden quite some time.  Lily I’m glad your throats a little better and you have a better day ahead.  Chive a good day for airing the washing.  I’m back home having a cuppa after tidying round.   I need to do some more weeding which is growing on top of the membrane through the pebbles.  The wet weather  has caused them to flourish.  Debs I like the stocks too, such a lovely fragrance, early morning for you before the crowds.  Enjoy time with your sister.  Hazel lovely photos of the animals what an enjoyable way to spend the day.  Lovely memories.

Hazel I do those twice weekly covid tests for work.  They are a bit uncomfortable to do,  but not a problem.  I do them on Sundays and Wednesdays.

    Good afternoon everyone.
Debs, that is a lovely picture too. I have cleaned all my birdbaths today as two of them had evaporated in the heat and they all needed a good scrub.
Hazel, that must have been the best hug ever! What a super day you had. I think I would have backed off from the tarantula too.
Busy 😢 I was so sorry to hear that your plans have changed and your poor grandson - what a shame. I do hope that you get to see C and the family tomorrow.
Chive, my blackberry is a thornless variety but it does seem to sort of scramble randomly all over the place.
Debs, my Bestie is a flower arranger and did all the floral arrangements for her son's wedding 8 years ago. I remember helping her with all her selections and there were stocks galore in them. That scent takes me right back to the wedding. Delicious.
