Good Morning Bluebells, LB, Rubee, SGL, Busy-Lizzie and all to follow,
Bluebells The Donkey sanctuary sounds good, they are such sweet creatures hope they keep their funding going,
LB That is a tough choice GC or playing with the kinetic sand 😀 Hope you have a lovely time with bestie today,
Rubee Hope your veg and plants are growing strong after all your hardwork, you’ll be reaping the rewards later,
SGL Glad you had a nice time with the poppets yesterday, hope your voice returns soon and your haircut goes well today,
Busy-Lizzie That sounds like a good arrangement with the previous owner, hope you feel more rested now after a busy time looking after your four grandchildren. Sweet donkey, do they like to play with anything like a football?
I had a good day with mum yesterday, need to go to the SM today.
    Have a good day everyone.

Good morning Ruby, SGL, Busy, Chive and Hazel. SGL, I saw that video of the teenager shoving the bear off the fence on TV yesterday - defending her dogs. As she said when interviewed 'Do not do this!' I think the adrenaline must have just taken over but it did the trick thank goodness.
Poor donkey, he does need company. Now Busy, what do you think about have a couple of pygmy goats????
I think The Pact had an ending - of sorts and this is not giving anything away but how did the murderer get away with it; how did the people who really knew who the murderer was live with allowing an innocent person to take the blame and how come kleptomania was not dealt with. I am a great believer in truth and honesty and I like justice to win and in The Pact it didn't. This is why I said it could have several options for spin offs but it was a very sour, weak ending.

I bought the donkey a ball to play with, made for foals and large dogs, @Chivetalking. He likes it. Don't mention pygmy goats @Ladybird4! I've been making a garden.

Bother, it's raining and the washing is on the line.

The builders have finished at last. I have a new utility room, shower, sink that works and a study. I am the painter so there ae some bits to touch up and the study window to paint and I'm painting bookshelves for the study. Think they will need at least 3 coats.

There is a lot of stuff to unpack in the loft and some furniture to move. The lovely couple who helped with my house move are coming on Tuesday to help. A lot is too heavy for me on my own.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

    Morning all,

Off to youngest's this afternoon. Going to plant some more peas and a couple of spare loganberry plants in her back garden and then bring eldest home from work.

There's also some garden furniture (for MIL) to collect but I don't think it will fit in the car :o

I think I'll give The Pact a go next week then @star gaze lily .

    @Biglad 😉

@Ladybird4 oops I think you have give away a bit 😉🤭  But yes I agree with you and probably not the ending it should of had. And yes the kleptomania should have been delt with. Don't want to say anything else at the mo, as I don't want to spoil it.

Haha @Songbird-1 no, not been shouting at OH 😉🤣🤣🤣
Thank you, will look out for those programmes.
Back from hairdressers, feels better but I would have liked a little more off. Never mind I've another cut in 6 weeks 💇‍♀️💇‍♀️

Afternoon everyone, another beautiful day back from SM felt like the poor bedraggled plants by the time I’d finished 🥴 should have gone early,
Hazel Shopping online was a smart move 👍, enjoy the trip to the GC later hope you get some nice treats. Pleased to hear your granddaughter is feeling better 🤗
Busy-Lizzie Good news the building work is done, now it’s the finishing touches with the painting. Nice of your friends to help move the furniture, you can start to organise where everything goes,
Biglad I was driving behind a car with a settee strapped to the roof, that wasn’t you was it? 😉 fingers crossed all goes to plan today,
@star gaze lily SGL How is your throat feeling? Glad you got your haircut this morning, it’s a nice feeling to be trimmed,
Hope you all have a nice afternoon.

Hazel I don’t blame you for opting to stay put in the garden, everything is drying out so quickly with this sunshine fortunately the rain barrels are nicely topped up after all the rain in May. I have spotted the Californium poppies growing from the seeds I had scattered, looking forward to seeing those flower.
Have a nice leisurely evening, save your energy for 23 tomorrow 😊

Afternoon all. I've had a great time today despite it raining on and off. We didn't go to the GC - just sat and chatted and knitted. Bestie made me laugh because her granddaughter had sent some more fake fruit and veg and a till so that we can play supermarkets the next time she is round I think I've found my level! The kinetic sand and dinosaur mould arrived but you would need a magnifying glass to see the dinos! Back to the drawing board on that one.
I was only joking Busy. I do think pygmy goats are very cute though. I'm glad that your kind friends are going to come round to help you with the furniture moving. We don't want you doing yourself a mischief trying to do it all on your own. I hope that you've all had great days.

Hazel You’ll have a lovely time out tomorrow I bet 23 is excited! Goodness the rain water used already, you have a lot of plants to look after so they must take a lot of watering.
    Have a nice evening everyone.
