A very good morning to you all. I have the annual boiler service today - somewhere between 08:00 and 13:00. It would be lovely if it was as early as possible so I can have the bulk of the day to do 'stuff'. I can never settle when expecting an engineer/parcel delivery etc. as I just know that when I am in the middle of something they will arrive. I hope that all goes well for Hazel's granddaughter today. Such a worry.

Morning LB, Chive and all to follow. We have sunshine at the moment, but the forecast is for more rain and thunderstorms today. The wind was howling last night and it poured down. Good morning all, that strange yellow orb is back in the sky this morning. I want to get a few things done before I go out for lunch. Fiancé is going for 2nd vaccine today and was very unwell last time so I expect to be on nurse duty later but it’s worth it for the peace of mind.
LB hope the boiler man is prompt and efficient and early so you can get on.

Morning all. I got up very late, was reading my book in bed. It's a bank holiday in France today, the 4th one in May. Should have been French Mothers' Day yesterday but it's been pushed to next Sunday as it was Pentecost.

Boiler all done and dusted for another year. Engineer was very efficient and checked everything. I asked him about the pressure drop I had last month as the hose fixtures seemed loose when I sorted it. He tightened up a couple of connectors and the hose is now quite solid.
I wish I could say that it was nice outside but it isn't and I suspect Marti Pellow will be along soon. Not to worry. I might have a sort out of stuff in the house.
