    Morning everyone,
Rained again during the night, everything looks very soggy.
I bet that naughty cat has probably been in before too @ladybird That noise would have certainly made me jump!  Do you have a lock on your cat flap?
Thank you LB,  I hadn't heard of that programme until Hazel mentioned it the other day. Will download the series.
Rather chilly here this morning although the sun is trying to peek through the clouds. Forecast for weekend is supposed to be warmer.🤞🤞 they're right.
@Songbird-1 thinking of you and your granddaughter. Hope she's feeling better this morning.

@Yviestevie thinking of you too, hope you managed to get some sleep. Take care of yourself

    Have a good day everyone

Good Morning LB, Rubee, Biglad & SGL and all to follow,
LB It made me smile that you were the one to shoo the intruder away while Lily watched on from the safety of the chair 😀
Rubee Hope you have a good day ahead,
Biglad All the best with your 1st vaccine today, hope you don’t have any ill effects,
SGL It would be nice to get some warm dry weather now, fingers crossed for the end of the week,
@Yviestevie Pleased to see that Gabriel is getting better that is such good news and your OH is improving. I hope you will be able to see him soon,
Hoping that @Songbird-1 Hazels Granddaughter is ok,
    Have a good day everyone.
  • LB it sounds like the cat soon exited.  It sounds rather like the cat that visits me.  I’ve been to the sm just a handful of people in the store much quicker to do it early.  Lily it’s Raining today but not too cold.  Biglad enjoy your run and good to hear your having the vaccination this morning.    Yvie I hope you can soon visit oh.  Chive keep dry today and enjoy your day.  I was going to go in the garden but too wet for that so I’ll be pottering tidying up after Alfie.

Good morning Ruby, Biglad, SGL, Chive and RosieBB. Yes, I think that cat may have been around before as I have observed Lily sniffing around the inside and outside of her cat flap. I shall keep a watch out now. I do have a lock on the cat flap SGL but I prefer not to put it on as Lily has always been used to freedom of entry and exit. Hope all goes well with your first vaccine today Biglad. I am really hoping to get out myself today.
Chive, have you noticed any difference yet with your new diet? I hope you get time over the holiday to recharge your batteries. RosieBB, I am another one who swears by early SM shopping. Always have done even before Covid. So much more civilised.

    Morning all.

In France, LB, I swear by lunchtime SM shopping. All the French are too busy having lunch to go to the SM!

The builders have arrived with my tiles. Hurray!
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Morning Busy-Lizzie. I agree with you whole heartedly there about SM shopping in France but that is rather dependant on whether the supermarkets stay open over lunch time or not.
Woo hoo - great news about the tiles!

Just waiting for any 'man flu' symptoms to kick in now ;)

As I was sitting in the chair, I was thinking how few buildings I've set foot in (other than my house) in the last 15 months. I also came to the conclusion that it's not surprising that it is so few, as 6 complete strangers (1 male and 5 female) have stabbed my arm with a needle over that period of time :o

  • Hazel, I’m glad to hear your granddaughter is out of hospital.  They don’t always discover the reasons.  It sounds like you had a lovely time with mum looking through photos of your dad.  Good to see but sadness too, bless you.  I’m signing out now, goodnight everyone xxx

Good evening all. Hope you don't have any major adverse effects after your vaccine today Biglad.
Busy-Lizzie, how is the tiling going?
Hazel, its good that nothing critical has been detected in your Granddaughter's tests. Is this the one who is taking her exams this year?
RosieBB, I'm having to record Springwatch tonight because it clashes with The Repair Shop. Lily and I will be on guard and ready to repel all raiders as well.
