    Morning all,

What a pain @Songbird-1 :( Hope you're able to solve the problem quickly.

Glorious morning here. Forecast is (currently) dry, warm and sunny for a good few days. Shame that I've been given running-around-a-field duties this afternoon. I thought that my season was over but apparently not! A waste of good gardening weather really.

I have just put together the chiminea that I picked up yesterday though. That should mean that outdoor heating won't be required for several months :D

Found this in our new bike shed. Good to know that it is a safe place to set up home.

  • Yvie I’m pleased to hear oh is home.  Has he any speech and language sessions scheduled for the future?  Watching tv will help to stimulate him.  All in good time.  He needs to rest.  It will have been a shock to him and you.  Take it easy.  LB are you in the garden today?  Don’t overdo it.  Lily enjoy your day with poppets.  You’ll be so glad to see each them.  Chive enjoy your week off with your family.  The weather may improve yet.  Hazel the new mixer tap sounds great and all completed.  Biglad enjoy the football today.  I like the chi mines, it looks good.  Debs wishing you a good weekend.

Hello all. I didn't get around to posting this morning as the plumber came to fit the utility room shower, plumb in the hot water and fit a new tap to the utility room sink. Pleased with the tap, it has a pull out shower.

What a nightmare at bedtime @Songbird-1, glad your plumber was able to come quickly.

No painting today, I've been pruning. Maybe wrong time of year for some things but needed doing. I've sawn lower branches off a pine tree and a Christmas tree so I can mow under them with the tractor mower and the Christmas tree was starting to spread out too far over the drive. So was the yew, so I've pruned it back. I've shorted the lilac and cut it back from the path to the front door and deadheaded it.

Evening all. Good grief Hazel what a to do you had last night. I'm glad that you got it all sorted. You and Busy-Lizzie with plumbing jobs done. Excellent. Busy-Lizzie you have been doing a major job with all your pruning.
Biglad, love the chiminea. I have a little paper nest like that in my garage - from last year. They are so pretty.
RosieBB, I have been in the garden virtually all day today and it was marvellous. I've just got out of the shower as I was really dirty and am enjoying a nice cuppa.
Have a nice evening too Chive.

Good evening everyone .Hazel I am pleased that you got your plumbing  sorted and Busy Lizzie too. Debs thank you for your kind suggestions. Unfortunately the doctors have tried so many pain killing drugs including morphine . He has  spent several months visiting the Leeds Pain Clinic and he has seen several neurological specialists .unless something new comes on the market he has to cope with drugs that only take the edge off his pain . But thank you for caring .
I am signing out good night lovely people.

    Evening all,

Very warm this afternoon so I'm pooped after scampering around a field for 90 mins.

Slumped in the comfy armchair and all of a sudden it's raining. Where did that come from? :o The towels I put on the line this morning were still out so more scampering required ;)

I've never seen one of those nests before @Ladybird4 - very dainty.

I might give the BBQ its debut tomorrow but, hopefully, not the chiminea!

I'll take a picture of mine tomorrow Biglad. A BBQ sounds like a great idea. The people in handy brother's street are having a street psrty tomorrow and I think that includes a BBQ too.
