Hi everyone, I've had such a lovely day with poppet 3. Lots of cuddles and giggles. He'll be 22 months tomorrow and boy does he have a lot of energy 😂😂
A lovely sunny day again and more forecast for tomorrow. A quiet day for us in the garden 😉
Happy Mothers day @Busy-Lizzie glad you had a lovely day.
@Songbird-1 You've had another busy day in the garden.
@Chivetalking and @Ladybird4 camping isn't for me either. I like hot running water, electricity and cosy beds. And definitely not trudging across a field to the loos or showers.
Your flowers look pretty LB. And the wasp nest looks so very delicate.
Hope you've all had a lovely day, sorry if I've missed anyone, feeling rather dozey.
Will say goodnight to you all, sleep well and sweet dreams everyone

Morning everyone, have been awake since just just after 5.
I'm now sitting in the conservatory watching the birds flit about in the garden. On my second cup of tea.

    Morning all.

Glad you had a lovely time with Poppet 3 @star gaze lily.

I don't care for camping either, need a proper bed and a loo. But the campsite my daughter was in was more like glamping, there were cabins with beds, sofas, kitchenettes, shower and loo with terraces and tables outside. Also 2 big swimming pools with waterslides, right by the sea.

Bit of drama last night. Son 2 rang, his pregnant wife was having contractions. A friend was with their children and they went to A & E, only option on a Sunday evening. They wouldn't let my son in, he had to sit in his car in the car park. I was going to stay the night with their children but in the end son's friend, who is a doctor, said he would stay. So I'm at home waiting for news.

Morning SGL, you weren't there when I did my original post. I was awake about 05:00 too but had a lie in. I've been out in the garden and its still a wee bit chilly but I think its going to be another scorcher today. Lily got her own back on Cocky this morning. Having looked over her shoulder to check that reinforcements (me) were covering her back, she flushed him out of the garden and he departed as only pheasants can do - a crack of wings and a loud cronking noise.

Good morning all lovely day yesterday I did lots on the garden have now finished my hanging baskets. Enjoyed my tea and cake at GC and a few plants wanted to come home with me I couldn’t resist 3 gorgeous foxgloves flowering beautifully and at 3for £10 a bargain! I have white ones already I grew from seed but I don’t expect flowers this year  these are lilac, white and a lovely soft apricot. They will brighten up a shady corner which is mostly shrubs at the moment. They are a favourite of mine I love to see bees go in and out of the flowers.
More gardening today and a trip to allotment later to tidy up and check on plants.
Sounds like you all had a wonderful day yesterday lots of outdoor fun. Long May this sunshine continue!
