Some profanities may have been uttered amongst the grunting @Ladybird4 ;)

I'll need to measure (exactly!!!) the remaining 3 spaces before I try to squeeze any more in. What's the saying - piss-poor preparation precedes piss-poor performance?

Hello all very busy day at work again always is before a bank holiday!
@Ladybird4 just 3 baskets to go, one for my oldest daughter all purples and lilacs and white and two edible baskets. There is an area on patio where I grow strawberries and lettuce and radishes and herbs so I want to continue the theme.
The others are looking good and the lady next door gets the benefit too with my new display posts. Feeling very happy with them.
You have all had a good garden and family day it seems even big lad despite a few setbacks.
    Long may this sunshine continue!

Hazel, it was joyous. I was introduced to kinetic sand for the first time. Magical stuff and Bestie and I went onto the famous auction site to source dinosaur moulds (grandaughter's favourite big animal) and more supplies of said sand. We had to be the 'ladies on the tills' at the check outs making the appropriate beeping noises as the shopping was scanned. I wouldn't mind getting a motorbike for a £1! All good stuff.
p.s. Hazel I do not ever need an excuse to be silly Sleep well.

Debs, purples, lilacs and whites are my favourite colour combinations. Your neighbour must be very happy with the display.
I'm signing out for tonight. See you all tomorrow people.
A fresh new day begins tomorrow

  • Lily time to rest and unwind after a busy day.  Topbird well done for getting the Tax Returns completed.  I hope you do something more enjoyable tomorrow.  How’s oh getting on?  LB it will be a long time since you dined out, as with most of us, enjoy your pub lunch tomorrow.  Debs it will be good to have Monday off.  The baskets sounds lovely.  Enjoy your weekend.  Chive I ordered a plastic mask but it was very uncomfortable as they dig in, not advisable, worth a try though as a break from the cloth ones as regular washing can irritate.  Disposable may be better.   I hope you’ve had a good day.  Goodnight everyone.

Sorry @Ladybird4 you weren't there when I posted last time. Glad you had a lovely day. My poppets love playing shops too.
@debs64 baskets sound lovely,  good idea for edible ones too. We have a couple of baskets of Tumbling Tom's.
@Songbird-1 You've had a busy day in the garden too. We couldn't cut the grass, still too wet.
@bluebellsinthewild I ache a bit, probably the fight with the Ivy being pulled off the Oak tree.
I've only got one more episode of The Pact to watch now  @Songbird-1 and @Ladybird4 I've enjoyed it, do hope it has a good ending.

    Night night everyone, sleep well

Good morning Ruby and RosieBB. So sorry to hear your OH had a disturbed night Ruby. It must be very draining for you both. Don't go overdoing things in the garden today. Such a contrast here from yesterday - grey and chilly - sounds a bit like yours RosieBB. Am I glad we are eating inside at lunchtime!

Good morning all, white skies this morning but the air is warm and sun trying to break through. Off for a walk with sister before work, she loves her new job so I expect to hear all about it then work will be crazy but I will be taking in doughnuts and then it’s a curry with the girls at our favourite curry house. Bit last minute but it should be fun!
Sorry to hear about restless nights Rubee, hope that improves.
LB Maisie has that kinetic sand it’s great fun isn’t it?
Hope everyone has a good day
