Good Morning Rubee, Bluebells, LB, Debs & all to follow,
Rubee Sorry to hear your OH has been having some bad nights that is tiring for you both, I hope you can rest today take care,
Bluebells Those plastic masks are a bit troublesome, we had them at school but I found it difficult to keep on and it steamed up. Hope Alfie is still eating well,
LB Sounds like you had a wonderful time with bestie yesterday and playtime with her Granddaughter, their imaginations are fantastic. Have a lovely meal today with your quiz friends,
Debs Have a nice walk with your sister today, it is great that she is enjoying the new job. The doughnuts are bound to put a smile on the faces of your colleagues today, what a nice treat,
    Have a lovely day everyone.

Morning everyone, bit cloudy at the moment, but feels quite warm. Forecast for a very sunny day and weekend.
@Rubee sorry you and OH have had some restless nights. Have a lazy day today, take care.
@debs64 enjoy your walk and chat with your sister. Lovely that she is enjoying her new job. Your colleagues will enjoy the yummy doughnuts 😋😋 Have a lovely evening with them too.
    @Ladybird4 lovely photo, very pretty.
@bluebellsinthewild I've seen a few people wearing those masks, look very uncomfortable. Think they could steam up be quite hot on a sunny day.
@Chivetalking are you working today or is it the start of half term for you.

OH has physio this morning so were off out soon.
    Have a lovely day everyone

    Morning all,

The showers that were forecast for today are no longer forecast it seems :)

With no weather or vaccination excuses available, I joined my young training partner for a track session this morning :o

Got some garden supplies to collect and a SM run. Then it will be more 'planter time'!

    Morning all.

I hope OH and you sleep better tonight @Rubee. Does OH take painkillers?

I'm wondering about gardening instead of painting today.
The builders have finished tiling the study/craft room, grouting to do in the utility room, back on Monday. Plumber coming tomorrow to install the showers and tap on the sink. It all looks bigger with the tiles laid.

Sunny outside. I'm off to the market, see you later.

Morning all - sunny and feels quite warm already. Think I'm going out to buy half a dozen perlargoniums for the 2 chimney pots either side of the front door and then do a bit of hedge trimming (low garden dividers - no birds) this afternoon. Must remember to wear the arm brace - it was using the hedge trimmer that started the problem in my arm last autumn.

Rubee - sorry to hear your OH is struggling again. Hope you can both enjoy a relaxing day.

Debs - enjoy the doughnuts and curry - not a day for counting calories😋🤭🤪

Chive - I couldn't get on with a plastic face mask / shield. Really don't mind the fabric face masks I bought last year - forget I'm wearing one sometimes and only realise when I get home still wearing it. Think it will be more noticeable now the weather's warming up.

LB - have a lovely time with your quiz mates - a little taste of normality.

Right - must get on with some tasks. But first I need to Google 'Kinetic Sand'.....
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

You won't be the only one to look that up @Topbird ;)

It looks like a cross between sand and play-doh (if such a thing still exists :o) - fun for children (young and less young alike!!!)

Good morning all later arrivals. Debs that kinetic sand is great. Perhaps what is not so great is that Bestie and I shoved granddaughter out of the play zone! Only kidding! So less messy than ordinary play sand and play doh (it does still exist Biglad). I am sure that your colleagues will enjoy the doughnuts. Its very nice to hear that your sister is loving her job too.
SGL, hope that the physio goes well and that you get chance to sit in the garden this afternoon.
Biglad, glad that you have not suffered any troublesome side effects from your first vaccine. Enjoy your planter time and just give the gravel boards a hard stare!
Busy-Lizzie I'm loving the sound of your tiling and the way it has made your area look bigger - remember furniture has to go back though! Hmmm gardening - painting; painting - gardening. No brainer, gardening every time.
T'Bird, I love the sound of your chimney pots. I have a clematis montana in one of mine outside the back gate. It's looking nice just now. I'll take a picture later.
Chive and RosieBB, I would not even think about wearing a plastic face shield and have every respect for those that put up with the discomfort of wearing them. Cloth masks do for me - when they are absolutely necessary.
p.s. I am a little concerned about the 'painting' mentioned by Busy-Lizzie and Biglad. This must be awakening the painting monster that is our Hazel. She must be getting withdrawal symptoms by now.

    Fabulous clematis.

The market was colourful and bustling, haven't seen it like that before but now Covid restrictions have been lifted so there were masses of stalls. Apart from veg (what I went for) I bought a handbag and a pair of red and gold sandals. Wasn't easy to find a parking place.
