Oh @Yviestevie so pleased to hear Gabriel is improving and also your OH. That's really good news. I agree with Busy lizzie about no visitors. It would do your OH the world of good to have a visitor. Really good that his speech is returning. Take care of yourself too Yvie. Good news about the tiles @Busy-Lizzie and great the tile can come tomorrow!
Evening all. T'Bird, I am very impressed with your OH's dedication to his cycling. The weather I'm having right now would be hideous to have to travel in. Is he going with a cycling group? At least that would be more fun I think. Bestie and I are going out to the GC on Thursday and then this Friday it is our lunch date with other members of the quiz team. The six of us have got a table booked for indoors at the pub. Another step towards getting back to normal.
Yvie, it is lovely to read your more positive news today. So glad Gabriel is recovering as is your OH but I cannot understand you not being able to visit. As T'Bird mentioned, all due care could be taken to allow you in to see him.
Busy-Lizzie, you have had a good day today - getting all your necessary purchases and then the good news about your tiles. It will be nice when they start to go down but don't even think about trying to move your furniture on your own.
I have been very amused today watching the clumsy efforts of the baby sparrows, trying to get through the squirrel baffle to the feeder. They are learning by watching their parents.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Well I'm going to be a couch potato tonight, going to watch Spring Watch and then the next episode of The Pact. I think Hazel is watching this too. I find it a bit silly in parts but its one of those programmes I feel I must watch through now until the end, especially as my prime suspects are now appearing to be innocent. I'll see you all tomorrow.

Busy day in the garden today as it stayed dry. Have nearly finished my baskets only 3 more to go. Lots of sorting of pots etc too and Hokey Cokey with more tender plants. Got Graham a bag of play sand for part of his enclosure he loves to dig.
Good news from Yvie, pity about the weather elsewhere hoping it improves. Fiancé had the afternoon out on his bike so he is a happy bunny.
YvieI’d good news of Gabriel and oh’s speech improving. I hope you sleep better tonight. LB I’ve been watching spring watch and then long lost family in part. Goodnight everyone
A very good morning to you all. Last night there was an intruder in my house. There were Lily and I watching the start of The Pact (it's on Sunday and Monday nights SGL on BBC1). Well Lily was asleep actually. Suddenly there was a noise at the cat flap and this time I knew it wasn't hail. Lily sat up on red alert. Cat owners will know that particular ear arrangement and wide eyed look. In came a big black cat which then proceeded to head for Lily's food. I hissed at it and it shot off back through the cat flap. I walked into the kitchen to the back door while Lily covered my back from the sofa. It didn't return though. It wasn't a feral cat as it was in beautiful condition. Lily must have a new friend.

Good morning everyone .Love the cat pic LB .What excitement for yo and Lily .I have a suspicion that your visitor could have been through your cat flap before .It was vey bold wandering through before you were tucked up in bed .

Thinking of you @Songbird-1 if you're looking in. Hope your granddaughter is feeling a bit better today Hazel. Very best wishes, take care.
Think I'll say goodnight too. Sleep well everyone.
Quick run and then 1st dose of the vaccine is the plan for this morning.
Might get into the garden this afternoon depending on any reaction and the weather, of course!
