    Hello all.
Son 2 rang this morning and asked me to lunch. His wife is expecting baby no 5 very soon and was looking well. Their children are so sweet, close in age. I had a good day. No painting.

I popped into a GC on the way home but no nice clematis. Looked the same stock that they had in March, apart from a rose delivery.

Good afternoon everyone. Well its been a wet, windy, cold day. No change there then.  Thanks for all the wishes for my sis-in-law. Its Ozzie brother's birthday today. He and his wife flew from Perth to Sydney on Friday for a fortnight's holiday. He went to watch his team, West Coast Eagles (Ozzie rules) play but unfortunately they lost. Now that game @Biglad makes me very confused.
Ante, I'm pleased that you haven't abandoned the champion onion growers challenge this year I'm very interested in the professional tomato seeds. I like the idea of them not needing any supports. I'll look them up later. Your plants sound wonderful. I remember growing Santolina many years ago. Is that the one that smells like lavender?
Debs. I'm sorry that you weren't able to get the baskets done due to small people watching. Maybe some time in the week. I've grown Gardener's Delight tomatoes before and they were delicious.
Hazel, it must be very nice planning your trip to your Mum's. Time for a big hug too. Aquilegias are very promiscuous and with pollinators assistance will pollinate each other willy nilly. Some young plants produced will be stunning whereas others not so much. To grow more Winky Woohs you can divide the parent plant in Spring. I hope that all goes well for your granddaughter tomorrow.

Hello all, managed to get 5 baskets planted up but have realised I need white lobelia. Visiting a garden centre for lunch with youngest daughter tomorrow so will have a look for some.
It’s pouring down now so after a bit of essential indoor work I am on the sofa with the cats and my furry throw ready for a glass of wine and my tea.
Fingers crossed for your granddaughter Hazel.
Lovely to go out for lunch Lizzie, keep looking for that clematis.
Songbird my self sown aquilegia are nothing special very muddy colours though I do like their foliage.
Hope everyone has a pleasant evening. Weather is looking better by middle of next week fingers crossed

It just looks like a free-for-all to me@Ladybird4 :o but, I'm sure, is enjoyed by the connoisseur.

I got a santolina (aka cotton lavender) last year and can confirm it smells great ;)

Marti has well and truly arrived. Should nip out and see if anything is getting battered before it goes dark but don't fancy leaving my armchair ;)

Busy-Lizzie, how exciting for you all. A new little person to arrive soon. Its nice that they are all so close together in age. I can speak from experience as I am one of six. The fun we have together was and still is legendary.

I am one of 6 too @Ladybird4, but there were 2 pairs of twins. I wasn't a twin and I was the eldest.
