@ehelka Gosh I've just remembered I didn't thank you for your rose seedling advice. I have the pot kept lightly damp in good light, but not full sun and the first seedling has proper leaves and the second is coming on well. I am very interested in seeing how this works out. I never imagined that I would see flowers before a couple of years.
I very much like the cool tones of Silas Marner, Minerva was one I had my eye on too but I think I've overdone the purple now.

@cooldoc Yes, Eglantyne smells amazing, it wafts when I pass it, so much so that yesterday I sat myself next to it for a while. The petals are delicate and tissue thin so the overall impression is of fragility, just so pretty. I do support the branches now the flowers are so heavy.
Like @Omori, all of you showing Desdemona makes me impatient to see mine. Is this the rose that the most people on here have I wonder.

@Tack, that's odd, I don't get that wafting from my Eglantyne but mine is in the border fronting the drive and it is windy here more days than not. I pruned it quite low down this year in an effort to make it shorter, it's up on a bank above the drive so it's only just coming into bloom.
I also love my EdeH but find that even after 3/4 years, the blooms are still so heavy they droop which spoils the effect somewhat.

Wow @Mr. Vine Eye, that was really interesting, you've packed so much in but it all has its place and looks neat as a pin. With all those climbing elements I think it will look even more fabulous in a year or two, really 3 dimensional and full of colour and interest. Your spot for Lady of the Lake is inspired!

@Tack I love your Eye of the Tiger.  I think I will end up getting it to go with my other eyes as I had thought about putting it next to for your eyes only but because that has grown so big there just isn't any room!

I have a feeling my new bed is front of the fence is going to end up full of roses!

@SeahorseFriend, that Hawthorn Is very beautiful, the pink of flowers really goes well with those lush leaves and your dragon is like the dragon in Merlin TV series.

Oh wow, you're right about Merlin's dragon! I've never seen that show but everyone keeps telling me I need to watch it ☺️

I really liked that @Mr Vine Eye, lovely garden and lovely roses. Did you use your phone to video it and then add the plant names after. You kept a very steady hand if so!
Do please do another one later on for us.
I think my phone's got that facility, I must check to see if I can have a go.
