..yeah, it's a British / Dutch design concept I think, stop us from wasting water..  several neighbours have Astroturf, well I don't want that.. but same time, I didn't want a Piet Oudolf inspired border either.. just lots of colourful flowers really..

.. do you have a space in the ground for The A M?  it'll be so much better, it's not a rose to keep in that pot for too long really..   Cornelia is an early bloomer, so watch out for that.
Yes, I have a large, clayey border with acres of space for both of them - just waiting until June to make sure they have good roots. I'm very excited for Cornelia, but do you think it needs to go in the ground before the buds open?

I’ve started putting more plants out into the mini greenhouse, opened, to harden off and I’ve moved the few that were in there outside fully now.

The rugosas are growing but looking very weedy. Definitely not fast growing plants from seed. I’ve got clematis The President starting to open up now.

Always looking forward to the weekends when I can get back in the garden properly again.

No, it's ok, you can leave it in the pot until you're ready... it will still flower for you..

...you have an interesting selection of roses beautifully put together... I've had my eye on 'Grace' for some time, so I shall look forward to seeing blooms on that one from you.... presumably it's new this year for you?..

Thank you @Marlorena - a long time in the planning with even a last minute change of mind after I had placed my order.  Luckily DA were kind enough to make the switch as they weren't sent out until last November I think.  Yes - all new this year and they've gone into beds that were very well prepared.  Don't worry - I'll be posting pics of them in bloom and keep you updated on Grace.  The Banksaie was planted some years ago as I had it at my last house and loved it there.  And I have what we established on here as Dorothy Perkins that came with the house. I have one on each side of the garden and pruned them both back down to the ground practically last autumn. Both growing away strongly now - dammit!

@didyw I like the underplanting.  Whats that lovely pinky Geum with lady of Shallot?

It's Pink Petticoats, from Proctors. https://proctorsnursery.co.uk/product/geum-pink-petticoats/    The colours are very similar to the 95th Celebration Rose you've found!
