I replaced two Pilgrims last year with red climbers and I'm glad I did - they were too tightly packed flower heads for me - I prefer a head more open. My neighbour sent me photos of the plants and they are doing well (better) in her garden around the corner. So hurrah for that.
Hi, could someone tell me why my Desdemona has flowered early? The flowers opened overnight and they don’t look right 😕 I deadheaded the first batch of spent blooms the other day - which were fine?!
Love that natalija is a hit, hoping TW stock more of the pheno geno as there were some beauties on the companies site. @Omori the pheno company site have better pics, Im eying up "peach" from TW next outstanding quality and would look good potted.
My potential list so far; Etoile, possibly munstead its swoonworthy after seeing @Mr. Vine Eyes, i still love lady emma, I want styles simply gorgeous and fabulous replacements, phenos peach, harkness patio fab at 60 (the peachy one). Im definatley going to do some pots next year, got 45 roses already!
Thanks to Mylorena's very helpful posts in identifying my rose as Rambling Rector I thought I should share current state of play. It came with the house and falls under my self selected plant category of really lovely plant......in someone else's garden
Felicia, such a pretty colour but a bit floppy, I have given her lots of water but maybe she would like a shadier spot. It's her fist year in the ground (she was in a pot for the first year) so I'm hoping she will be strong next year.
