@Omori how beautifully coordinated with the flowers behind 😊

@Audrey3Kim, where are your based and yes, has it been hot? My blooms get smaller with less full of petals in heat and probably with less water than they need, even though I water a lot! I have seen that yellow colouring on Desdemona in warmer climates. Have some of the petals been nibbled? Sometimes insect damage at bud stage can cause deformed blooms, so that’s the other possibility..

Ah yes @andrewnewton, otherwise known as Rampant Rector for good reason! Looks fabulous though.

I have just done a really stupid thing. My own-root cutting of Munstead Wood is next to my new (grafted) Mme. Isaac Perriere. Of course one is meant to cut off the buds on new rose cuttings, guess which ones I cut off? 🙄

    A weather warning here

It's time for me to sleep in the loft and watch the lightning, feel the thunder and hear the torrential rain. At least that's what I'm crossing my fingers for. I adore storms. I'm putting my hanging baskets out when it's all passed. If we do get heavy rain, ox eye daisies, valerian off. and other tall umbellifers will be flattened but hey ho.

@cooldoc not yet but I could always try it with an obelisk. I think the label said 1.2m x 1.2m, at the moment she's about 50cm tall x 80cm wide.

@Suesyn I was just asking to know about her growth habit.. Since I had to be choosy in my small space, I went for blush noisette over Felicia.. do post her shrub pics whenever you take one..
