Pheno Geno 'Mileva' aka 'Renée van Wegberg', a nice quality potted rose from Trevor White 'Marie Pavie' fully open today, I like it more yesterday... many more blooms to open very soon. Rhododendron 'Percy Wiseman'
'Mileva' looks nice @edhelka .. some good vigorous growth and such glossy looking foliage, very taking I must say.. will you be eating it?.. I see it's recommended for that too..
I've got a Percy Wiseman, one of my rugosas is out and a "blue" think it's twice in a blue moon, don't know what's going on,they are incredible this year,NO blackspot or rust!!
@Mr. Vine Eye Gorgeous colours. Im hoping "lavender Ice" will be like that Love song you have.
@Suesyn Those are really lovely cottage garden borders!
Thought I would share some rose growth as everything seems to be romping away now. Westerland in its new spot (thank you @Marlorena for suggestion):-
The yellows and reds border, doing well!
Rhapsody in Blue, covered in buds.
Not a rose, but I know we like a hellebore on here whilst we wait for the roses - this is "Decaya Pink" - beautiful clusters of delicate little flowers and nice shaped leaves.

I'll try it but I don't expect much. I tried rose petals before but found them tasteless. I am not a fan of edible flowers in general, they are pretty but usually don't add much to the taste. 'Lemongrass' caught my interest because it is supposed to taste lemony, which could be nice in salads.
The Etoile is revving up in earnest. It should look great in June, if only for a week. I didn't do any lateral trimming, but it looks like it won't be a problem. The smell is fantastic. The individual blooms are lasting well. Below are ordered by age - bud, just opening, half open and nearly blown. Strong sun, night temps etc, will affect how long they stay, I guess. With me barkarole has amazing staying power of weeks. I will make a proper note this year.

Etoile first proper year of flowering: It has survived the snow, frost and high winds well.
I too have just received Pheno Geno 'Pear', I bought it out of curiosity just to see if it lives up to the spiel. I intend to just put it in the ground and see what happens. Have you previous experience of this group or is it a first for you also.

First one. I believe they are 2020 introductions, some maybe even newer (2021). Happy to see that this thread is like a testing group several members having different varieties.
Lovely photos , @Marlorena, @edhelka@Fire and others - I so enjoy looking through them, irrespective of whether I explicitly comment. @Marlorena ( i hope I don't get excommunicated for saying this on this thread!) I particularly like your dry garden ( and am v impressed anywhere in the garden looked as dry as that after the deluge of rain)
Etoile is gorgeous @Fire, I love it when they change colours, didn’t know it developed purplish tones like your last photo.
So many roses so close, the wait is agonising for things to open, I’m willing all yours on!
I feel as if my East garden is finally beginning to look like a rose garden, this is the most developed section. Farther to the right is a seating area and my pot medley. The other half, not seen, is still a work in progress.
In the foreground above is a Tantau rose Soul. It was slow to get going last year, putting most of it’s energies into green growth, but I think the wait is going to be worth it, it has so many big clusters and lots of lateral buds along the fence this year. On the obelisk behind Soul is La Rose de Molinard:
Harlow Carr, just seen to the rear right in the main photo:
Mountainous Northern Catalunya, Spain. Hot summers, cold winters.

One of the "cocktail" Geums, Tequila sunrise.
