@edhelka,. Thanks again for all the photos and details. I was thinking of getting the country parsons as I love yellow but now I am having a second thought.
Wow I had a lot of pages somehow to catch up on! So gorgeous, each one. Ty for sharing pics of your trip @edhelka, I doubt I’ll ever make it to DA garden in person as I’m so far away.
@Victoria Sponge I can recommend Well Being, very floriferous and gorgeous citrus scent. It does best in plenty of sun. Mine is in a pot next to patio seating.
I am also grateful that you shared your DA trip @edhelka . I doubt I will get there. I especially appreciated your comments and observations because I think you just cannot get that feedback from pictures. I think I am probably done with DA roses unless they develop something fantastic. With you and Marlorena praising Nathalie Nypels that has become very appealing.
It struck me this morning that my 3 lavender/lilac roses are the ones whose blooms are coping particularly well in the full sun in this heat. I only have a pic this morning of Dioressence but Blue River and Odyssey are fine/thriving too.
I don't want to sound too critical. The fact is, I've been out of love with DA roses, or not completely out of love but more like "I already have enough of them and I am only buying a new one if it's really special" approach.
Thanks for posting pics of your DA visit @edhelka. I think it would be most useful to see the manner of growth before purchasing, something I take pot luck on at the moment. I was particularly interested to see Dame Judy Dench which I have been curious about for a while. I'm in a mood for oranges and buffs this year.
Thanks for extra photo of Well Being @Omori. Looks such a happy rose and the scent is a bonus. Your photo and Cooldoc's actually give a much better impression than the one on the Harkness website. I checked to see if it was available anywhere I already have a wishlist but couldn't see it which is a shame. I'm considering losing a corner of my lawn to make more sunny spaces but have already taken on so much for this autumn I'm a bit wary.
Your unnamed yellow is very jolly @Eustace. Brilliantly healthy leaves.
Rambling Rosie has now reached halfway up the fence, I think it's now year 4...It seems to be taking ages although I suspect I have been liquid feeding a stray root of the Clematis above it, Skyfall, as I'm sure I pulled it out the other year.
Colours starting to develop in the front garden. I'd originally had an idea to add a potted Blue for You (which I've already ordered) here for contrast but now I see all the harvest colours coming through I think it's a terrible idea. Found a pot for B4U in the back garden instead and will think about getting a nice matching warm colour😉
Close up of the lovely Lark, my favourite DA this year as it is unphased by changeable weather. Looks smashing on an overcast day.
Evelyn Fison was down to one spindly stem and a couple of leaves after its first year in the border. Now potted in year 3 is slowly recovering. It isn't getting any special treatment, I think it didn't like being touched by other plants or maybe the reduced airflow in a border🤔
Some of the last few on Celestial for this year. I'm not disappointed with my once flowerers even though they have not had the best year. They were all very floriferous; it was just bad luck to have the heavy and prolonged rains 2 seconds after they started to flower.

This photo doesn’t really do it justice:

Crown Princess Margarita, Emily Brontë, queen of Sweden, and rose of the day is summer song.
