    @Victoria Sponge, I have a tiny, young Blush Noisette. I get a faint whiff of something, occasionally. HMF says ‘mild to strong clove fragrance’. I could never have identified clove, just something vaguely musky is the best I can do. My sense of smell has been traditionally poor, but over the last year or two it’s got better, the more I sniff the more different fragrance notes I can smell. Nose has pulled it’s socks up or roses have? No idea!
    Well I climbed carefully into the border and sniffed a few different flowers, I don't think I did catch a waft the other day unless it smells different at a distance.  To me it smells very mild, a cold, fresh scent like a cucumber.  I don't have a great sense of smell and sometimes if I smell a very strong rose scent, I then can't smell another rose, which previously was scented but I had a fresh nose on this occasion.

    I like @edhelka's vase display as well, a sweet mix of colours.

    @celcius_kkw Thanks for posting the photos of DA gardens. We are considering going too but probably won't be able to make it or too late and it won't be worth it... The booking system complicates things for us.
    Do you have any photos of mature Silas Marner?

    I'm really pleased you like Scarborough Fair @edhelka, I love the look of it and have given it one of the very few, choice garden spots.
    Thank you for those pictures @celcius_kkw , DA looks like I'd love to visit it. I think TCP is high on my desirable list now, with your photo and @Marlorena's recomendation it must be a winner. I hope you enjoyed your cruise. In my parents' time I enjoyed the K and A on the family narrow boat with them.
    I had Blush Noisette in a pot on a warm patio last summer. I really missed its lovely scent when I planted it out so it is surprising to hear others can't smell much. I loved passing by , it didn't  need to be sniffed to catch it. On a warm day I'll have to climb into the bed and sniff again.

    I like your 'La Belle Rouge' @edhelka
    .. very nice Ark Angel @logan ..

    @celcius_kkw
    ..thanks for checking in Adrian, glad you had a nice trip away on the Canal, lucky you!.. and what fabulous photos..

    .. just to add, we've seen how they put 2 or even 3 of the same in a  large pot though, so we need to be aware of that, when we see such a full look to their potted roses.. but you can see why when you look at The Country Parson..

    ..also that wonderful Crown Princess Margarita.. it may be 2 roses they have there, they plant 2 together sometimes..  I don't have it myself, but isn't it fabulous?

    .. your own roses are looking good too as I would expect..
